maybe im behind the 8 ball nowadays but i dont really see how calling oop with a marginal hand like KQ/QJ/109 and then turning it into a bluff and trying to get ur opponent to lay down top 2 pair at 40/80 blinds when u started the hand with 100bbs is considered good play maybe having a bluff here and having it posted on p5s is good advertising for u to become the 'recognised maniac' that u seem 2 wanna become but realistically id hope u have JJ here

still doesnt really answer my question bout wat u call oop pre and flat the flop with. KQ yes. QJ surely if ur image is as crazy as u say u would raise that flop. Maybe 109s the only possible hand u have here that u can then turn into a bluff. AJ surely u lead the river if u think hes got AK or check/call rather than hoping he bets the river so u can shove on him and hopefully mak him lay down AQ even tho u might well just be good anyway against AK.

i cant really work out wat hand u would call oop with and c/c the flop that would allow u 2 turn it into a bluff...seems pretty stupid to turn QJ into a bluff if u think he has AK in the hope that he folds AQ if he has it...

I don't know if there has been/will be a dumber post this year. Seriously, I applaud stars/Hachem for putting foward and promoting this CHARITY tournament. I especially liked ur comments that 'I am surprised that 452 people have signed up already given that half the pot is going to a charity. The prize pay out really sucks.' Its promoted as a charity tournament not the newest mid buy in tournament added to the pokerstars schedule. Result: I got it in and he had 10s. When he shoved I wasn't sure whether that was in his range of hands. I was leaning towards no...especially to overshove there with so many players behind that had him covered. Against a random obv I call but I know mman_status knows somethin bout poker. In the end I called because I just couldn't bring myself to raise/fold JJ there. If I were mman_status i'd prob fold there due to lack of any better option

with 5 players behind with 30bbs himself he surely doesnt do this with 8s/9s and I question if he would do this with 10s...but i'm not sure' Basically the answer is if he does this with 10s...if he does then its a call and if he doesn't then its a fold

ok.... this is a very difficult hand obviously and having seen the results it probably makes it easier to just come in and assign ranges that are gonna result in u comin up as the correct answer as AQ.... let me make a couple of points about some of the comments in this thread.... 1) funnily enuf the first 10-15 posts of this thread were comments about 'def bet flop' 'value bet the river' 'check call the river' with absolutely no discussion of anything the opponent has... 2) with reference to gags most recent post....'his range is super tight'...i agree with ...

1 tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime.... def deserves this... wrote an email 2 ftp during break with 3 tables left dear ftp, my friend playin on screen name teek_00 is currently in the final two tables of the sunday mulligan He has always always always run horribly at the final two tables of ftp tournies and i just want to make sure this wont happen again. He hasnt had a premium starting hand in about 2 hrs and i just wanna make sure that he gets his 'fair share' plz do the right thing seemed to work he ran AA into QQ shortly after GOOOO TEEEK

wow.... cant possibly work out y u would check that turn nevertheless... ur only beat to AQ and AA here and 4s does seem the more likely 3s is also a possibility pretty sure i dont fold here since 4s seems the most likely hand
