What does afford it have anything to do with him having a gambling problem' He can still have a gambling problem even tho he has enough money and that 1k doesnt mean a whole lot to him... Anyway i think the answer is follow normal bankroll management rules and don't play over your limit.

He basicly limped, and farmer2005 raised only 2600 something to 5600 total. The big blind is 3000. This is the reason i called, since i was getting a good price knowing that zzIcall can't raise me (or so i thought). I am pretty sure he should not be able to raise here in this spot. I wanted to be 100% sure before i werer to submit a bug report to pokerstars or something.

Goes both ways. Some players plays better as shortstacks as its easier to get allin, but then on the other side you will half your profits in the long run as you win less money when allin and it takes longer to build a stack. But then again if you run into a cooler you only lose 50% of what you would have lost, so it goes either way. I like full stack as i like to profit as much as i can when i have the best hand.

I'd love to know if its the same type of people who freak out at poker who freak out example of slow people in lines, people freaking out honking the horn in cars etc. But OT i guess any psychology book will do, or therapy. Maybe also look into stuff like yoga/meditation, even though its a bit dainty. But then again Hellmuth meditates, and it doesnt seem to cure his table manner.
