What was it that helped you get to that next level?
as for volume 40t's/day seems good enough for me logic classes (as in if P then F type of crap) actually helped a lot and if all else fails get coaching... gl oh and if you have a full-time job, you might want to consider reducing your hours or figuring some other way of working more time at the tables into your life, there is no substitute for experience

fwiw I know James for 3 years, and he's always been a stand-up guy and at the very the least the title of this thread was off, I have swapped thousands of dollars with him without ever having a problem. A few basic questions
dont worry about the leaderboards, they measure volume mostly not quality of play. I'm pretty sure your main concern at this point is building a BR not becoming the most famous $5 HUSNG player out there. Focus on playing well and stepping up in stakes is my advice. Also I wouldn't exceed 5% of my roll on a "shot". gl

Yeah and unfortunately PartyPoker isn't available stateside and the Crown Casino is ridiculously expensive. I really wish FTP or Stars would step up and launch some satties.

I know Full Tilt ran two or three on Saturday nights and Cake had two monthly ones, and is having one more December 19th, but is that it' Only five satties for a 10k event in one year' Does no one want to go to Australia this year or something' or are there a bunch of Aussie Mills sattelites on some site I don't know about' There is still about one a nd a half months before the main event, so plz cosign this and maybe we'll see some more satties before time runs out. btw fwiw Australia is AMAZING and I'm not Australian pz

FT 90 man Hand Advice
#1)easy fold, u have no fold equity and 5 ppl left to act #2)i like the all in but make it like 2/3 ur stack, looks scarier (13bb on btn w K high looks pretty awesome to me) #3)make like it 1500 and go with it, looks like a squeeze, first guy is short, second guy is prob weak since most people at these stakes dont have the temperament to flat w w big PP's in late pos. gl

HSMTT 1k interesting all in spot..
In a vacuum I think it's a call b/c a) the OR has more chips than the caller and if you are crushing his range (which I think you're supposed to) you don't lose much in the hand. b) even if you lose the full blown pot, you're still wretchy, sitting on almost 40BB and in good shape c) if you win you're in awesome shape d)their ranges might be wider since it is their 1st hand at the table and there is no history. Altogether I think its a marginally +EV spot, although if you felt that your table was easy to run over, it might be better to avoid the long ball plays in lieu of maximizing the ...

I always call there, shortest stack has only 8X but there are no antes, and big stack is doing what he's supposed to do, I can't even really see myself folding JJ there, but then again it also depends on gameflow..

Hey I want to petition Full Tilt Stars and the rest of the sites get an AUTO ADD-ON button in rebuy tournies. They already have an auto rebuy box, and while I might not always click the auto rebuy otion I will always add on, and I am sure that anyone thats played these has missed and add-on and regretted it. If you're one of these people or just think this is a reasonable idea, leave your name below, and I email all the sites I play on if theres a lot of people aside from myself that would like too see this. krasark

Ok I've given it some more thought, and yes obv, the 90 man is double stack, but that translates into you starting w 75BB's instead of 100BB and I don't think that that is where the difference is made. Tbh I'm leaning in favor of 90 man tournies now myself but solely b/c of their blind structures, they have the same 5 min levels but on Stars it seems as if there are a couple of levels missing altogether.

$12/180 man @ Stars vs $26KO/90 man @ Tilt
I play both of these Multi Table SnG's regularly and they both take approx 2hrs to play out, the 180 man on stars pays 18 people with $594 for 1st, the 90 man on tilt pays 9 people with $596 for 1st, both are turbo's. I was recently trying to evaluate which was a better tournament to play in and I think that there's no difference b/c the KO's amount to lowering the avg. buyin to somewhere ~$12, but a close friend of mine disagrees and argues that the 90 man is better b/c you're up against fewer opponenets, my counter is that since they both take the same amount of time, ...
