Actually, I work 2 30k jobs ha but that wasn't the point i was going for. But you are right, dolphin, it could be a lot worse. Any job is theoretically better than no job.

Hey buddy.... Northwestern recruits pretty hard here in the Twin Cities too. I'm sure there is money to be made..but like others have posted, you have to press your family/friends for business. I was approached by them a few years back, and after asking around, I learned that its not the kind of place I would like. The job market blows right now for recent graduates. I finished my finance degree a few years ago and I am just now trying to get my foot in the door. I landed a $14.50 an hour shit hole position with a big bank that hopefully opens up some opportunites in a few exausting months. ...

EWZ - iShares MSCI Brazil Index. It's on the up and up. I also put a few bucks in a couple lower risk ETF's: XLK (Tech sector ETF), and MOO (Agribusiness ETF) These are long-term holding postitions for me.

I'm a pretty big MSU homer as I went there from 97-2000, but I am a realist too. It's been a crazy season for both football and basketball. Football was clearly overrated (nationally speaking), and the basketball team is difficult to gauge. 3 weeks ago I was thinking NIT tourney for State. I hope they do well this weekend and possibly in the NCAA, but you won't see me picking a Final 4 run. Good luck boys!
