software question I haven't used many poker tracking software programs in my career and am looking at trying to find one that does a few things. Obviously I'd like it to track other players tendencies and styles, hands etc. But, I'd like to see a few more things. -Mostly a sitngo tracking software. -Is there software that can be set up to track called all ins' -Is there a software that can be set up to track patterns in hands' Such as the frequency of getting an ace in your hand, or a 7, whatever. -Software that will track every hand in a sitngo so you can go back and study it or look it over' Any ... Is the Bluff/Lock challenge a true measure of how tough poker has become? Yes Mark, that's what I'm saying. Is it really that hard to understand' Once I built up to 500-600 I moved up limits and went on a 1 day bad run, which happens. Proportionately, I shouldn't have played as high as I was, up to $100 buy in sitngos. Wouldn't take much to knock that bankroll down. But, I did to TRY and get a foothold and get up to a $1000 bankroll that day. It didn't work out. I had to start over and the much lower limits. Maybe what you're missing here is my original point that you seem to face a higher quantity of terrible calls and plays at the micro ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Is the Bluff/Lock challenge a true measure of how tough poker has become? I've actually found the lowest buy in sitngos way tougher than the higher buy in sitngos as you are facing more and more big pot/drawing situations with players. If you have a bad variance run, despite getting your money in good in this competition, your chances of getting a foothold are vastly diminished. I liked the one post suggesting that it should be a sitngo, or multi table ONLY competition if something like this is ran again. I've played multis at Lock, and even cashed in the majority of the ones that I've played in. But, most cashes were bottom cashes gaining me little in ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Ultimate Bet Constructive Criticism Post ( Roothlus Posting) One example...and in fairness I can give you a 100 different positive, smaller things, over the past 5 years. Reality is, it's going to take much more than moving a tourney that the VAST majority of it's clients will NEVER play, to up the volumn on the site and make it a destination that people WANT to be their primary site. The good news for the site is that it still has loyal reps that genuinely want to help. Let's just hope they put the actions into play that will make believers out of the poker community. Ultimate Bet Constructive Criticism Post ( Roothlus Posting) UB and it's reps, me included in the past, were always on here asking for constructive advice to bring to the site. 5 years later, they're still on here asking for guidance. Are they really going to take the advice of it's reps now Rooth' Seriously, they've had some of the best ears to the ground with it's reps and the online team of Poker ho Debo and Shawn and they've rarely listened to them or the grassroots advice they've given them. Aruba! Thanks for the endorsement Mkind. I left UB back in March of this year. I was with them for almost 5 years and enjoyed working with the various people within the company. The online team, P0ker H0, Debo34 and Shawn Rice are the nicest guys in the industry that will go out of their way to help out all players. stars petition: remove "Find a Team PokerStars Player..." feature I would hope that you are joking with this thread. If you are lucky enough to get a sponsorship deal you are one of the very few and lucky ones that do. The deal will bring you some exposure and notoriety. The site wouldn't sign someone if they can't market them. Why do you think they would endorse someone' They WANT their clients to be able to interact with them. UB's new RAI$E program I know this will get slammed, but, one indicator to me that they have improved their customer service is by the frequency that people find me for help. It's gone down dramatically over the past months. There most certainly was an issue with tourney $ being awarded quickly but hopefully with the new upgrades coming that will all be sorted out.
