Need advice on places to relocate to play Online
Going to Barcelona in a week for vacation and we agree, it's a shame that Spain is regulating รก la France and Italy. There are lots of other cool place to play poker from however. Hi there, I'm Kristin from Poker Refugees. We focus on helping players get set up in Canada, Costa Rica and Panama. Costa Rica is the fastest and most affordable option of the 3 and there are lots of poker players. We can help you get set up in a poker house with some roommates and get up and back playing again very fast. Every week you aren't online costs money and we realize that. So, we ...

Depositing on stars after rellocation
Hi James, if you are moving to Canada you can open a bank account in virtually minutes. I recommend you call and make an appointment before you go in. The account should be open automatically so you can wire transfer money in person at the bank. I don't see why transferring anything under $10k would be an issue. Of course, you need to have your pokerstars account re-opened before you put money online, which is a different topic and takes a few days to accomplish. Re: Moneybookers Limits: First of all, there are some easy ways to up your limits immediately such as verifying your address or ...

How much to move to Costa Rica
Hi Rick, Poker Refugees through PocketFives is definitely the most cost effective and fastest way to relocate to Costa Rica (or other countries). Our cost per person is $1,000 but we can help you save hypothetically $1,000s of dollars in time and actual money, in addition to more time playing - faster. Especially compared to the challenge of figuring it all out on your own. We can also help you find a roommate and present you with a full budget so you'll know what to expect once you're here and what you could need in cash plus what you can pay on a credit or debit card. We know exactly ...

Thinking about moving to Panama...for good.
I agree with Squinster that getting out of the US, even permanently, can mean "living the dream", but I also agree with wackyJaxon that you don't have to renounce your US citizenship for any reason unless if you don't want to pay taxes there or something. Not recommended. You can be a citizen of the world and a citizen of the US at the same time. US citizens are among the luckiest in the world. We can leave forever, but we can also always go back.

moving to malta
Here is some additional basic info that might help you: ON BANK ACCOUNTS FOR FOREIGN INDIVIDUAL CLIENTS: * Authenticated copy of passport; * Utility bills required to verify permanent residential address of involved individuals; * Suitable introductory verification of details and references from a bank or other acceptable party (for example reputable professional lawyer, notary or accountant). Possible issue: Certain banks like BOV which would be the most appropriate bank in this case, require that a letter be sent to the Bank providing the reference in order to confirm ...

Hi AK, Kristin from Poker Refugees here. While we mainly focus on helping players move to Canada, Costa Rica or Panama, I can also help with other countries on request. Coincidentally, I have been doing some research on Malta this week. P5s Poker Refugees on House Hunters International
Thanks for the support guys; I hope this episode will show a bit more about the lifestyle specifically here in Escazu, where a lot of online poker pros are living right now. It's a lot to fit into a 30 min TV show, but HGTV has this down to a science by now. My clients on the show are Daniel a young investor from Belgium and Juliana, his Brazilian model fiancee. They met in India and now live in Costa Rica. Nice life!
