if you could bring back any 2 series.....
I would be happier w more Firefly movies than another series I think. Party Down would be a top 2 contender, forgot about that one. Freaks and Geeks would be great but it isn't feasible cause all the actors are too old now.

the big bang theory sucks
Chuck Lorre is a genius. He has mass appeal down to a science. BBT might not be the best show on tv, but it's far from the worst. It's greatest achievement is probably that it is entertainment that appeals to nearly the entire age spectrum. My grandma watches and enjoys it ffs. If you want to watch a TV show as a family then you'd be hard pressed to find one better than BBT.

The Avengers
Was def expecting more based on all the hype surrounding this movie. Guess they have a really good marketing team pushing it (and probably posting on this forum fwiw - it's called astroturf). After the awesome movie that was Iron Man it seemed like a mad scramble to cash in on the success. Iron Man 2 was a bunch of product placement and marketing with a "meh" plot and boring action. Thor was so bad they had to market it for months in advance inserting Thor references into popular culture like on Its Always Sunny (s6e12 dee gives birth), Big Bang Theory (several episodes), and Conan Obrien ...

Privacy can easily exist if people get angry and fight to secure it. Just because the information exists doesn't mean that corporations should be allowed to share it, or that the government should be allowed access to it without a warrant. Restricting logging (do not track is progressing) and creating the right to be forgotten would go a long way.

Quentin Tarantino: Most overrated director of all time?
IMDB ratings can be pretty inaccurate. User based reviews have been skewing high for some time now. Maybe the ratings are bought and paid for, maybe the studios flood the votes, maybe IMDB users are just fan boys' At least they now include the MetaCritic rating on the IMDB page so you can get an idea of what the movie is really like. Too bad since they have the most comprehensive information on movies. Fandango should add movie reviews and only allow people who actually purchased a ticket to submit one. There is far too much shilling online these days.

Why should the government tell everybody exactly what beliefs are correct and how to act' It's very possible to believe that abortion is wrong, and also to believe that everyone has the right to make that decision for themselves.
