Re:Got assaulted at a middle school bball game tonight
Absurdly inappropriate behavior on the part of the dad. I would say go ahead and file charges; sounds like this guy needs some anger-management course to be mandated by a judge. He may not even know how outrageously wrong his behavior is. If mad-dad doesn't apologize to you, with sincerity, go ahead and press charges. Assertively tell this guy that there's simply no place in this world for settling arguments with threats and battery. P.S. - while you're at it, ask him if he thinks the marvelous example he's setting has anything to do with his kid is such a shitbag. Good luck

Re:I'm drunk....gonna FT some tourney's tonight....
Fell asleep with an enormous stack (damn you Nyquil capsules in the Dayquil box!) about two weeks ago and final-tabled a $3 rebuy on Stars. Believe I woke up to use the restroom, saw I was still in and played a bit more. Went out in 9th though as it's difficult to accumulate chips while sleeping. :\

I have no words...guy took over chip lead for whole tourney with this hand
Just so I'm clear about this, this tournament was full of some of the nicest people, but worst players that I have ever seen. I was basically licking my chops every time I won even a small pot because play was SOOO bad at every table I played at. You could bet every street with top pair, get called down full pot-size bets if you wanted, and then check hand history to see that they had mucked 2nd or 3rd pair. It was truly incredible. Had I won this hand, I would have been tied for about third place in chips with 6 or 7 others. 1st and 2nd would have only been about 5k-6k ahead of me ...

Re:For the last goddamn time Stars, AUTO-ADD-ON button!
You may be correct but what I've found is an auto-rebuy button for cash games only. If a button exists to do auto add-ons at the end of the rebuy period, I'll gladly stop type-ranting about this and thank the person who tells me where to find it.

For the last goddamn time Stars, AUTO-ADD-ON button!
I'm not even remotely a "serious" MTTer compared with most of you but it tilts the heck out of me when I'm in several of these rebuys and miss the add-on. I know I've cosigned on threads like this before but I'm currently sitting with 66% of the stack I would have had if I had caught the add-on. It also just so happens that this add-on period was right around the damn 55-minute break so basically the tourney window stopped popping up for a while and whoops....I missed my chance. I realize, I should be paying better attention, or set a timer to beep at me when the ...

Re:Last hand before rebuy period ends (puke). How to avoid in the future?
Thought I would clear something up here as several of you have posted about it. The second that this hand was over, the rebuy period was over. I don't know if we were the very last table playing before the rebuy period ended, but I did not have any opportunity to double rebuy. Let me make this cearly: there was no option to rebuy displayed on my screen or under the menu that pops up when you click the chip tray. I did of course, take the add-on. My tournament came to an end when AA < A3 (the tournemant chip-leader) aipf for 1/2 his stack. Nope, not a straight. He had the three of ...

You know, perhaps I was just tired, but I didn't even catch that he had limped UTG. I guess I just saw the short-stack shoving, and me sitting there with 88 with only one guy to my left that I needed to fold. I guess I probably thought the guy to my left was the BB instead of UTG. I just don't like anything about how this went down now that I realize this.

How to punish high-blind limpers?
Short: I'm deep in a $3.3 + R and I have like 3 big stacks at my table who keep limping preflop. They've gone to show-down a couple times and had really marginal hands each time, even when they limped UTG. Problem is, they haven't folded to 3 or 4-bets preflop from other players. They keep winning with this limp light/call/call/call nonsense...any ideas'' Thanks!
