Standard Going to Vegas Post
Hitting up Vegas with some college buddies for a bachelor party. Poker is not the focus of the trip, but I definitely plan on playing. I haven't been there in a long time and am out of the loop. Where are the best places to play in a tournament' Also, good cash game casinos' I usually play $1/2 $2/4 online and have been doing well. Thanks in advance, Kyner

Elite XC is a bastardization of MMA. Watching the last show on CBS was embarrassing as an MMA fan. I felt like it was a cross between WWE and Celebrity Boxing. Hopefully, new MMA fans transition to the UFC and WEC to see what real MMA is all about. Kimbo can knockout homeless people and over the hill fighters and that's about it. He has little to no cardio, and his ground game is suspect. If Shamrock can weather the first few flurries, he should have no problem taking down kimbo and slipping in a submission. -Kyner

For the $26 tourneys, your best bet is the 26K or the 17.5K. Otherwise, you can always use them to satty into FTOPS events or something. -Kyner

His shove is scared. He called with an ace suspecting a button steal. He has top pair and doesn't want a call. I say he has A9 at best. Call if you feel like gambling. With a stronger hand, he'd either lead weak or check-raise strong. -Kyner

I figured the only hands I'm beating is J-10 through K-J. In these $26 tourneys I've seen people limp-call with a wide range of hands. I've gone broke here against two pair many times. Had I got the DB to come up faster, I probably would have called though. After the hand, he said he had nothing. He could have been angling though. Thanks for your response MonkeyCowboy. Yeah, I need to stop doing that. I like doing it from the button, but that's obviously a lot different. I let the hand go, it felt like two pair. He's a maniac if he plays a set that fast. My patience paid off, up to 7100 now after getting it all in on an open-ended straight draw and flush draw when the guy had a pair of tens with a Queen kicker. -Kyner

The bigger joke in this whole saga is the fact that all the wife/women abusers in professional sports travel below the radar, yet Vick is going to jail. Wasn't there some baseball player this season that sent death threats to his girlfriend, and sent a pix message of a gun' I am almost certain that this guy wasn't even suspended for that. -Kyner
