Re:Playing AK in the blinds..
So is threebetting bad pre in this spot. I dont get it i allways three from sb against CO raise. I would prolly vbet river if i where ROMOMANIA here aswell, cuz i belive everyone are Only reason i see for calling pre is trapping someone with a worse ace when an ace flops(kinda rare) buyin of tourney is relevant here aswell.

Re:Call/Fold/Jam?
Since Fradista justed called here coulndt you just sqeeze him', you should be ahead of his range and may well end up against him with an a8s or something. But then again since he just called(makes no sense with his stack) he must be kinda bad and can have a strong hand aswell. I dont like calling, showing looks strong and will often fold out hands your flipping against. Dementia must be folding for sure, so it kinda comes down to what a minraise from dance means......

Re:How bad did I play this set?
I think people are being a bit result oriented here. If you have stats/reads that villian is likely to two barrel here i think the call is allright. Against a nit, i would raise flop as the likelyhood of him having an overpair is bigger(You dont want a club or overcard kill your action as said). Fact of the matter is that villian did twobarrel and made a horrible call on the turn, good for you right' . I agree that you cant be too worried about clubs in any other way than that it may kill your action. The overcard on the turn is kinda a double edged sword as it may hit your opponet or kill ...

Re:gooooooood players only. curious on your line. final table bubble $8.80 90plyr
I think i agree with the lot about the bigger reraise pre(like 2500 or something) Betting the flop seems more like they play i would make with two aces here hoping to get called by some kinda pair. This depends imo how spewy he is if he calls your reraise with a kj A10 ish kinda spew range i think checking the flop is in order to induce bluffs. With a tighter range betting out for value seems goot. KK i would prolly allways check to a lag in this spot(more aces for him to bluff with)

Re:$0.10/$0.20 Cash, KJ, Decision on Turn
Agree with babyblueyes. You got it in good and everything, And are happy that he had the hand he did, but your not even that huge a favorite on the turn and are flipping on the flop. Thats like calling off with a small pair in a tourney , even the best case scenario aint all that good.

Re:gutsy or stupid?
My plan for the hand was actually checkraising allin on most flops. Had a tight image at the time and figured i could get away with it. When the flop came with dry with king high i was like .. sweet im so cheking, hes so c,betting and folding too my push. I didnt actually realize there was a flushdraw there at the time.

Re:gutsy or stupid?
"I really hate getting in these situations with someone who has me monumentally outstacked, and therefore more likely to gamble with a marginal hand if they think they are ahead." totally agree. I think this play would be alot better if he had like 4000 5000 less chips and with a non flushdraw board.

"Jean4884: raises 500 to 750( Almost sure hes bettin air here)" then reraise him. wtf u calling for' C/bet flop. Weak turn bet here would only be good if your some kinda genius and plan to bluff reraise him allin.

Re:I'm beat here ya?
"He isn't to worried about the gutshot draw but when the turn brought a flush draw he had to bet against that" im rarely worried about backdoors.... i think u usually loose value betting big to "protect" against backdoors.

Re:I'm beat here ya?
i agree to fold or raise this preflop. Bad pot odds and bad implied odds too. He may have filled up allready, u can also probably rule out ak and aq. You can beat a badly played flushdraw and a wacky bluff, but thats about it.

Re:what about this hand
1. you mean jacks full' hes prolly not calling an allin overbet with KJ or something so that seems bad to me. 2. Seems good. 3. If hes preflop raise is a hand, hes checking behind here alot. If hes the kinda guy that would raise pre with like the 89 of hearts checking to induce is obviously good too. im prolly being resultorientated but your bet looks a bit too big. He would be tossing all pairs and maybe even the jack, if you bet like 300 he would maybe call and pray u missed the hearts or something....

Re:should i check with over pair AA?
flop bet is fine imo, checkhing the turn is something i would only consider against an agressive station player liable too flat call flopbet with Ak, Aq a10 kinda hands. have been thinking a bit about this hand. If he is agressive betting turn very weak seems like a good idea, but it seems like a good idea against a station too(the agressive station player(lagtard) may deside too make move with ak,kq aq kinda hands, the station will call with underpairs and maybe even unimproved A high hands again. As he is probably drawing dead or too 2 outs here, checking the turn could make him liable to ...

Re:CASH game how to play AQ safer???
against a loose opener and a callingstation, woulndt u be ahead of their ranges' hes oop so doesnt it make sense too raise it and try to take it down right there' AQs is a pretty big hand 6 handed espeially against a laggy opener and a callingstation imo . oh reraising to 10(got the flop and preflop bets mixed up, my mistake) would be way too much btw, but like 5.5 to 7 seems good to me... a tough spot if one calls u miss but still

Re:should i check with over pair AA?
nah... when you bet that big on the flop u gotta figure MP for something. The turn overbet is gonna scare everything away though, u want underpairs to call here. And if he has a jack or an OP you are pushing the river anyways. Depends alot on opponent, but i would prolly bet like 6.5, look weak and hope he calls with and underpair or gets frisky with unimproved a highs.
