Anyone know how to record a session?
As you see on the poker training sites. I've had a couple of people say "use your web cam" but the vids I see on sites like (PokerSavvy) and PokerXFactor are obviously recorded directly from monitor image. Just not tech savvy enough to go about doing it.

Re:Math question for anyone who is good at percents.
The long way I do it by hand is 434/100=4.34 then 4.34*a percent until I get to where my finish was. example: If i finished 61st I know it's around 15% so I will do 4.34*15=65.1 then 4.34*14=60.76 so I know I finished in the 14%. Of course that shows lousy math skills, I know, which is why I'm trying to learn the right equation.

Thank You for the serious response Lord Supremo. Nice to know that there are not just stoners who frequent these forums. :) I am giving serious consideration to PokerXFactor for just that reason. I have not found any other training sites that offer a HH analizer like thiers. Looks solid from just the tutorial I looked at.

Impact of poor short term memory on your game?
Ok, we all learned at some point in our journey to becoming a better player that there are a lot of different components to the game that are important to becoming a "good player". By "good player" I mean a winning one over the long term. My question today regards the one area that has proved the most difficult for me, short term memory. I've read or am in the process of reading a number of poker books and rarely is short term memory listed as an area to focus on to improve ones game but yet it’s necessary to be able to keep track of opponents betting patterns, tells, ...

Re(2): Poker Players Fantasy Football League Invite.
Sorry to have to change things up, but is going to disband the league because it doesn't have 12 teams so I started a Yahoo league (which i probably should have done from the start) because it is less restrictive and we can more than likely meet the requirement of an even # of teams by tomorrows drafttime. Hope to see you there!! League ID# : 518523 Password : goallin The draft is at 5:15 PM PDT / 8:15 PM EDT

Re(4): Poker Players Fantasy Football League Invite.
It's afree league, but any sides bets are between the owners themsealves. 12 teams per league. I was originally going to open this to members of 5 forums, but have only advertised it to 4 so far as 3 teams per forum seemed like a good ratio! The forums are , P5's, , and

Poker Players Fantasy Football League Invite.
Just want to start by saying I'm a relatively new poker player having just started playing a little less than 6 months ago. I am quite happy with PS's as I've found alot of good info, not to mention the quality of players here is deeper than any forum i've found to date and I frequent 5 different forums (my "home" forum is ). One to the reason for this post. I've been into Fantasy Sports for about 4 years now and play Fantasy Football, Baseball, and Basketball. I thought it might be fun to start a league for poker players and try to get players from the different forums to come together for ...

Re(2): Lisandro's online name?
Just a little info in regards to Phil Ivey. I was listening to an interview with a big name pro recently (i believe it was Jennifer Harmen, but don't remember for sure) who said that, for awhile now, Phil has been playing alot of high limit ring games around his tourney play to the point where he is making alot more $$ in them and is often pretty tired in the latter stages of the long final tables. This could explain some of his play at the Tahoe WSOP Circut final table which, by the way, I was present for and can tell you that he made some good calls, but the bads ones were for the pots that ...
