2.20 turbo bad raise with AA?
With 13 BB and the size of the pot, I am jamming it pre. The call/call by villain pre is really bad.

central air unit sucks
A one ton is most assuredly too small, but your duct work also plays a big factor. So even if you got a 4 or 5 ton unit (with at least 13 SEER), you still might only have cool air seeping out if your duct work sucks. Or at least that's what I've been told.

Is this a leak?
This is a 45 man tournament. I’m 6th in chips with 20 left. The original raiser has been short for a while and has not been jamming in excess. What gives me trouble here is the stack sizes. Original raiser raises 30% of his stack, which I read as strength and give him credit for a narrower range (99+, KQs+). So I think I am flipping against two overs at best, and possibly crushed by a bigger pair. My stack is 35 BB's, which is kind of a "tweener" for me. If I push to isolate and win, then I am up to almost 50 BB's and gain some ability to play post-flop, etc. But if I lose, I am down to ...

the venetian?
Yeah, I think the Caesar's draw depends on what is going on at the Venetian. I played at Caesar's the day the Venetian had a $1070, so the turnout was good. Not sure how many they get when both Venetian and Caesar's are running a $340. But I personally like the environment at Casear's better--nice dedicated tournament room as opposed to being pushed out on the Venetian casino floor behind a rope.

the venetian?
The Caesar's deep stacks are two day tournaments that start at noon, same as Venetian. The Tuesday buy-in was $225, and I think all the buy-ins are either $225, $340 or $550 depending on the day. Here is a link to the schedule: . You can go back to the Caesar's poker page for the structures, which are a bit deeper than the Venetian structures.

the venetian?
I played a $340 last Monday. There were 760 entries. The line did get pretty long to register, but if you're there more than 30 minutes before the start you should be fine for first hand. FYI, the Caesar's deep stack last Tuesday drew 560 runners the day the Venetian buy-in was $1070.

Re:going to the hospital to see my dad probably for the last time (very long)
So sorry to hear this. My dad died last summer after battling Parkinson's for years. I think it's different for everyone, so I can't say I know just how you feel, but I still miss my dad every day. Just know it will take time. Take in all the positive energy being sent your way and hang in there.

End Game Question
I've been an off and on lurker here for a while, but don't post much. But I really need some help with situations like this. This is a 45 man SNG. Down to the final 6, so we just passed the bubble. My read on the open raiser is that his range is probably any pair, JTs and up, and maybe A2-A5s and AT and up. But that's what I think his range is for an open shove--I struggle with figuring out the 3x raise and I struggle with the fact that there is the BB still to act. Is this an easy fold' Or an easy re-steal shove' And is your play any different if the open raiser open shoves ...

Re:FFB - Who are you playing? - NSFW
u gotta start Driver--Steeler secondary is lost without TP Smith at Redskins = bad matchup TO--meh Edwards at ATL--I'd be tempted to start him as my #2 over TO and Smith, but i'd rather have Cotchery

Re:Not a great post but i would appreciate someones opinion. QQ limp UTG
Not sure I even know how to respond. I don't like limping UTG with QQ, and I really don't like the re-raise after the raise and call. I assume the SB folded after the shove, but it's not clear from your post. If you call, I think you're probably flipping here at best. Next time just raise pre. You should get some better info and it won't cost you as much.

Re:WTF spot in $10 tourney on stars
I think it's a fold. But I also feel like you're actually ahead here fairly often. 99-KK is a very possible holding when you see a massive overbet like that. But just as often it's AK or a set. You don't want to call off your stack on AJ unless you have a better read.

Re:AK against a re-raise late
I called. The first pusher had 33, second had KK. I spiked an A on the flop. But a K came on the turn and I lost. In hindsight, I think I am should have folded. I think I am only ahead in that hand if neither of the other two players have a PP, which I think is pretty unlikely. I think I could have waited for a better spot. But the thought of jumping out to a solid chip lead with 4 players left is pretty tempting--I really shoot for top 3 in those small tourneys. Thanks for the input.

Re:My Restaurant finally has a website (suggestions needed/welcome)
First off, looks like a nice place. I won't repeat what others said about the need for pics and getting rid of the music, but the site in general needs a bit of a professional touch. There are many, many typos throughout the site, buried directions, etc. But I guess my main comment is about the menu. There's no focus--it's all over the place. It's fine to be eclectic, but I really think this menu is just trying to do too much. Personally, I like more focus on clean, direct flavors. If you're going to bother grilling a pork chop on a cedar plank to impart that particular ...
