Re:QQ Pre......Too Weak or What?? i think its an instant shove, only two hands beat you at this point. he can be doing that with JJ or Ak. I f you're beat thats unlucky but IMO its a mistake folding QQ preflop at those limits. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Stars $33 10k guarantee - AJ OTB Why shoving and put all your stack on the line with AJ. you can only be called by a better hand. On top of that you are in position. I'd say call, hope to hit the flop or outplay villain. Might seem conservative but you still have 15 BB left after that if you lose that hand. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:End Game Question Shove, but dont expect the villain to fold his hand as he will feel commited and not so deep either. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:QQ mid late in FT tournament. You are probably right. Just have to win the races to win tournaments. I might not have any other spots to double up like that. I' d rather lose like that than slowly blinded away. Thanks Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:QQ mid late in FT tournament. I just feel that to make it to first places you have to avoid those all in coinflip (even as slight favourite) and wait for better spots. I don't mind calling half my stack. But with QQ I like to see the flop. Thats why I didn't 3bet preflop to avoid him shoving. I think shoving all in preflop with AK is Kamikaze poker and just lottery. I don't mind short stacked but So much players put their tournament on the line with that hand and bust out. Re:I hit trips! Now what to do... IMO, you should bet as your opponent expects you to continue bet anyway, if he has any pocket pair 88+ u might get him to call. A lot of weak players check when they hit the flop which always raise suspicion. In addition trips must be protected. For example I played that hand not long ago, got dealt 44, limped in mid position, cutoff players raise 3BB, I calll, flop comes KKblank. I check, villain checks (I put him on a K), turn 4. I shove, he calls and show KQ and didnt improve . Posted in: Poker Discussion |

QQ mid late in FT tournament. got a 40K stack, average is 30K. BB is 1K I got dealt QQ on the button, I have been pretty active UTG player raise 3XBB it is folded to me and I flat call, SB with a 9K stack goes all in. UTG player shoves, hes got a 40K stack too. I put him on AK. Should I fold to preserve my tournament life or call to chip up and get a shot at first places' Let me know your thoughts. Btw. I called, busted out, K on the flop SB had AQ (he made a straight), UTG had AK I feel like QQ is overplayed sometimes, It is a nice hand, but doesnt race that well. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:AJo 3rd level utg+1 Lay down, way too early to put half ur stack in with AJ off. Its a huge 3 bet from villain!!! Ak or JJ+ would be my guess Posted in: Poker Discussion |
