Getting sports cards graded
I'm having a hard time figuring out what this cards worth. The Bronze is worth the least but some guy on ebay has a 9.5 listed at $1300. That can't be accurate can it'

Is the grading scale more lenient the older a card is' Just came across a 66 Topps Sandy Koufax...seems to be in just OK shape (couple dings on the corners and looks like a small scratch on the card) I have about 10 rookie cards each of Cam Neely (opc) and Scottie Pippen...are these worth grading if they look in great condition' I can't see any flaw on them aside from maybe slightly off centered. 6 Patrick Roy rookies and not one opc! If I can't sell any on ebay you got yourself a deal

The most aggravating part of going through all these cards is finding all the inserts from the 90's...Cards that were worth a ton back then but basically worthless now. Wow thanks for that info. Is a graded 7 better off than an ungraded card' Unfortunately the Gretzky is Topps. Also, what grade would a card have to be in order to get book price'

Thanks, Mike. I'm in no rush so it looks like the 45 day 100+ cards is my best option at $7/card. But I just don't know enough to figure out which cards are worth sending in. The graded cards have to sell for much more, right' Ya the only reason I want them graded is because nearly all of them are in mint condition..at least from what I know, I'm no expert.

Does anyone have any experience with this' I'm assuming cards that are graded sell faster and for more money. How much should a card be worth if its being graded' Most of the cards are in mint condition and I obviously want them graded..for example, I have Larry Bird/Magic johnson, Dan Marino, Elway, Gretzky rookie cards...those obviously should be graded. What about a Steve Yzerman OPC rookie card' Looks like it's selling for around $70 on ebay but not graded...is it worth it to get a card like that graded' Expecting answers from WAR

They were 20-1 last month and I can't believe I didn't pull the trigger. Even crazier now that they have a great shot at home ice during the playoffs. I'm extremely curious how this goalie situation is going to play out...

The game itself was much better in the 80's and 90's. I'm still a fan but a ton of these games are not even close to being entertaining. There are story lines every year in every sport.

You guys are arguing completely different things. It's much more difficult for a #1 seed in the NHL to win than a #1 seed in the NBA to win...but at the same time it's also that much easier for a lower seed NHL team to win than an NBA team.

You could argue that thats why its easier to win in the NBA. The best teams in the NBA don't have to worry about losing to a big underdog.
