How could he not have charged mark up correctly' I understand he was extremely plusEV in this tournies but he 1.25 is semi fair considering how late it was and the huge volume he planned on playing. Scammed by William Givens - imahustla1 I felt like I needed to post in this thread. It really tilted me seeing his response in this thread. A friend of mine introduced me to imahustla1 this year at the WSOP. I played craps with him and I also played blackjack with him and he seemed like a cool guy. For him to say that he never played the tables is an absolute joke. Even though I didn't play with him very long or for very much, he definitely played these table games and lost. College Students who grind This is not as hard as everyone makes it out. I played Div 1 college tennis when I was in school and played probably 40 plus hours a week successfully with school going on and also went out 2 nights a week or so. I did the minimum to get by with school and graduate with 2.7 in 4.5 years though. The trick is to try and get your school work done in between classes and as quickly as you can. I would just go ahead and cross out two nights a week to balance out your social life. But this doesnt mean you can't grind during the day and early afternoon on a Saturday. Live mtt tipping at casinos that already hold back % for staff This is a pretty absurd statement to put me in the trashyd-bags side............I respect LVpokerdealer and his responses and I agree with what he says for the most part. I am a slightly above average tipper on the cash games fwiw........however i am not going to give 25$ like some guys who i think are retarded when I win a 500$ pot............it will be more like 3-4$ depending on the dealer............ All i am saying..........to be profitable in live mtt poker, you have to be on the conservative end for the most part on tipping due to the high rake............ So, are you expecting me to ... Live mtt tipping at casinos that already hold back % for staff So if a tournament is taking 20 percent rake or more and also an additional 3 percent because of the new law to staff or whatever. How are we suppose to beat the rake consistently if you want us to tip more than 2 percent........' Like imo it isn't our fault that the staff is getting 98 percent of our rake(or whatever it is)...............and the dealers only 2 percent.................if the law is going to take an additional 3 percent for tipping whoever (tournament staff, dealers) on top of the rake...............how can you honestly expect a player to tip more on top of this and still ... Live mtt tipping at casinos that already hold back % for staff i am not certain why no one has mentioned this but the extra 3 percent that is taken away by law GOES TO THE DEALERS. There is no way you should tip more in a live tournament..................the rake is high enough already. Cash games are a little different and I do tip there even when they rake extremely high........................but I just laugh at some of the people who throw dealers 5 bucks on a 50$ pot when there is already 5$ in rake being taken away.................because these people have no chance of beating this game over the long run and take a lot of money off the table for ... What you remember about online poker Favorite Online Poker my first five digit score that came in a 26er where I chopped Least Favorite Online Poker Memory.........................where I finished 2nd(where I had a cl) and 4th in a PCA qualifier in the same day..........................and also seeing my backees getting two and three outted at final tables and final table bubbles for heaps of chips. All time Favorite MTT..............the 50 on stars on Sunday at 3pm.......
