Anything sicker then a bad beat on the river in a step 5?
After grinding my way up each level from a $10 deposit and making it to the $1000+35...I just got knocked out by a 3 outter on the river. First place is $4500 but I got knocked out 9th for nothing. The steps suck.

All you Michael Vick haters out there can't deny one thing......MIKE VICK IS FUCKING UNSTOPPABLE IN MADDEN 2006!!!!!! His speed is unmatched and I laugh as I juke and run circles around defenders trying to stop me. That is the only reason why I think he should have made it to the pro bowl. He hasnt had a horrible season but its a joke he made it to the pro bowl. The only thing I can think of is the piss poor year that quarterback in the NFC have had.

"Vick was an above average college quarterback'" You obviously have no idea what your talking about. Ive never seen a college quarterback take control of a game like he did in two years playing in the NCAA. Think about it...above average college quarterbacks don't get drafted into the NFL, much less get picked #1. Noone considers Vick as one of the worst QB's in the league. Hes still young and not many of the great quarterbacks have done amazing in their first few years in the league.

Very true. The coaches on the other hand can call plays or make substitions that are not favorable but it the end it comes down to the players who do this for a living and could be playing for their jobs.

I dont think many people make deposits on a dayly basis. I think the money that comes from poker comes from the quantity of new players that are playing and losing. I can't imagine anyone consistently losing and redepositing in the higher stakes.

I know its too early to tell for sure how he will do in the NFL when hes 21 years old and quarterbacking the worst team in the league. It is just based on his play this year and his ability to be rattled/make bad decisions...Id say hes more likely to be a Joey Harrington then a Payton Manning.

I think Sirius has better programming then XM, but I don't know about better service. Maybe its my car antenna setup, but it takes 5-10 minutes of "acquiring signal" before my Sirius even works every morning.

Formerly of Pi Lambda Phi. Onyx, I am not sure if I would consider the fraternities at VT the miscreants of the campus....more like an easy scapecoat for the administration for the drinking and partying that EVERYONE does.

College Football this Saturday...who do u like???
UCLA vs USC-21 USC didnt impress me at all against fresno st and I think they are going to barely get by another one. USC 38 UCLA 31 FSU-14 vs. VT All you Virginia tech haters on this board are going to go post crazy again if VT loses another game. But thats not gonna happen so you can all SMD bc VT is gonna blow them out 41-14. Colorado-28 vs. Texas Texas didn't any trouble with them in the regular season and they aren't going to have any trouble with them here. I recently visited went down to florida for a week and played in the tournaments at some of the casinos. Im going to have to say that the blind structures that I saw were all really crazy and made it hard to play good solid poker. I did make a final table at the Hollywood Seminal Casino before getting knocked off on a bad beat 1010 vs A3 allin preflop. I didn't cash in the other 2 I played that week bc it was such a crapshoot the blinds went up so fast. Do the 1k events have slower blind structures or more starting chips''' If so Id love to play in one of those.

Congrats scgolfer on the 10k score!!! I had fun playing with all the p5 guys. Mason you would have made it down the stretch if you had won some of those races. I think the 2500 starting chips makes it a lot easier to be patient and wait for good hands. However, for a tourni with 335 players I think 6-7 hours is kind of excessive. It'll be interesting to see how long the bodog 100k lasts with 800 players starting with 2500.
