Re(8): Bodog having problems? I had this problem as well this morning. I called bodog who said they are having problems with comcast people on wireless. It didnt make sense to me but he said to repair the connection and sure enough it worked. Just right click on wireless connection and hit repair. Hopefully this solves the problem. Re(2): Super Monday Bust Out Hand Well i did think he had AA or KK so i thought if i checked the flop he wouldnt put me on having a queen and when he rerasied me on the turn i thought probally had AA or KK (I was screaming no JJ when i called his all in) guess i got what i wished for, too bad the guy raised and reraised preflop with K10. lol Considering he did that betting preflop i have to think he wouldve called a decent bet on the flop as well. The flop was too good for me, if one Q hit i wouldve pushed all in or at least did a pot sized bet. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(4): Can someone explain why I was not given a chance to reraise here?? That is a good point that i didnt think of. I didnt realize i wouldnt have a chance to reraise or I would have done what you are saying. Normally i wouldve limped in that situation and reraised and that wouldve won me the pot for sure. Oh well, lesson learned. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Can someone explain why I was not given a chance to reraise here?? Thats what I figured but I thought since there was still someone in the hand i could reraise him. Who knows, if i reraised all in he probally wouldve called, after all the Q6 was sooted. I shoudlve just limped and reraise like i planned but i figured ill just play it straight up and sure enough i get donked anyway. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Can someone explain why I was not given a chance to reraise here?? Ok, I was in a SnG on party a few minutes ago. I raised from UTG and a short short stack with not many more chips than the raise pushed. The guy next to him called and I was only given the option to call and not to reraise. I wouldve reraised this guy as you will see what he held onto after a UTG raise and a push from a short stack. Here is the HH, can someone please explain. ***** Hand History for Game 3860783559 ***** 60/120 Tourney Texas Hold'em Game Table (NL) (Tournament 21564309) - Fri Mar 31 18:04:30 EST 2006 Table Table 95489 (Real Money) -- Seat 7 is the button Total number of ... Re(5): party 200K hand Randy, If you recall the 100k on bodog last Sunday i had KK vs your AK in almost the same situation. Now that i see you post here let me ask you something. If i wouldve reraised you to 3k would you just called it or pushed all in' At the time you had 9k in chips i had 7k the blinds were 150/300 and you raised to i think 950 from UTG and i pushed all in from middle position. I think i shouldve just reraised. What do you think you wouldve did if i did just raise to 3k' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Re-occuring problem, how to fix this hole in my game. I'm surprised to hear that i find them to be very soft most of the time. Maybe i should go back to PP and see how I do there now, i guess I've improved more than I thought. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): Re-occuring problem, how to fix this hole in my game. This is not playing advice but I had the same thing happening to me on PP and I switched to Bodog and I have been winning much more than I ever did on PP. I dont know if you will find the same thing but they give a 10% up front bonus so it wouldnt hurt to give it a shot. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): $30 deepstack, right play? or bad luck? help appreciated That is pure bad luck right there. i wouldve check raised that set as well it wouldve trippled you up if that guy didnt suck out on you. The only option you had was to go all in rather than checking the flop and maybe they wouldve layed the hands down but you were short stacked and flopped a big hand I would've done your exact play every time. Re(2): MTT Tourney advice needed Thanks for the advice. I think the best move now wouldve been to reraise to 3k as you suggested. I think what may have happened in this case also is that he may have put me on a weaker hand because my bet size was so large it appeared as if I didnt want to play it. I think if there were more callers after the raise than the push all in wouldve been the right move but with just him in the pot the 3k reraise would have been a better play. At least in this hand in particular i couldve got away from it after the flop. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): MTT Tourney advice needed The blinds at the time were 150/300 he raised to close to 1000. I had no intention of laying down KK my thought at the time were this. If I did a mid raise he was sure to call. I was raising with the intention of getting a AK or AQ hand out so i though maybe i'll raise to 4000 but then i figured he would either push or fold but this guy was calling alot of hands prior so i thought he would push so i decided to put the pressure on him and push myself. Brix is right I got my money in with the best hand and was a 65% favorite. I think in hind site i shouldve reraised him to 3k and if he were to ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): MTT Tourney advice needed Thats what i was thinking, I'm not playing to win $50 here. I just cant believe this guy would risk pratically his whole stack with AK. On Sunday I was short stacked and pushed with AK suited 4 off the money in the 100k and hit a A88 on the flop, turn 9, river 10 and get beat by JQ. Unreal bad luck with and vs AK lately. MTT Tourney advice needed I just got knocked out of the 16k Guarantee on bodog with KK vs AK. I'm in late position the guy 2 from UTG raised the blinds 3x's in front of me. He has 9k i have 7k which is the average chip stack at this point. I push all in, he calls and a ace hits the flop. At the time I figured i was over betting i just wanted to take it down there. Should I just call that raise or just reraise and then see a flop or did I do the right move and just hit a bad beat' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(4): Need a Mentor I am interested in this as well. Typically how does this work on pokermentors' Does the mentor tell coach you as you play in a tourney or do you watch them. When you are watching are you on the phone or over instant messenger and do they tell you the hole cards and why they are playing them etc. I was on the site and it said there are many options i was curious what how it works most of the time. Thanks Posted in: Poker Discussion |
