Bodog vs Canadians? Looking at the PokerListings special instant $100 on a $100 deposit is sweet. When I looked at the terms and conditions for signup here: It says for term #1: "Participation in Bodog's wagering system is open only to those individuals who are 18 years of age or older, and are not residents of Canada. Only one account is allowed per household or shared computer." WHAT''' What does Bodog have against Canadians' What's even weirder is that Canada is available in the countries list on the signup form.... Someone enlighten me because there definetely isn't an anti-online gambling bill in Canada. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Could I have gotten more out of this? I like check-call flop as it hides your strength, but you suddenly lead into Villain on the turn and the cat's out of the bag. (IMHO) Check-raise the turn for another big bet. The paired board doesn't mean anything since you said he was solid. "you missed one bet... no big deal" It is a big deal. It's another BB/100 and if you don't make that then you're leaving money on the table. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): Bankroll Importance? My story. I played a $54 13k gtd exponentially underfunded. I placed 4th for $800+change. I had a roll of $1500. I proceeded to donk off the next week by buying into the Weekly Deal on PokerRoom ($320). I then proceeded to play some $33 SNGs. Had a hot run then came crashing down. I was crushed. My roll returned to a measly $400 (relatively speaking, I realize now I'm thank ful for the privilege of just being able to play). Then Jennifear saved me with her "Bankroll/Cashout strategy for low-limit SNG grinders." I'm now grinding $11 SNGs properly bankrolled and am facing variance (dropped 15% ... Re(7): Okay, I'm finally trying to get serious about tourney poker. Best monitor tool here IMHO: However, do not just go mucking around with resolutions. You may just kill that 37-inch LCD. Make sure that the LCD *supports* your desired res. If it's a cheap one (ie. not true HD) than you'll probably be stuck with pretty low res. options. Good luck with everything. Re(1): Free SNG Lesson feedback I think I speak on behalf of the students that we all benefited from your generosity. It got a bit hectic at times, but that was to be expected. All-in-all it was a great experience and I can't wait for (possible) future lessons and some more 1-on-1 tutoring. DLOMSB and "just win the last hand." Thanks Jenn. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Jennifear's bankroll and cashout strategy for low limit sng specialists aspiring to move up. Thank god I found P5s. After a couple quick cashes in MTTs including one for $800+ I had a bankroll of $1500 and no idea what to do with it. So what did I do' I took random huge shots of course and before I knew it my bankroll was back down to $400. I was crushed. What did I do wrong I thought to myself' Then I learned bankroll management from the Fox post. Then I read up on Gidders and his SNG Challenge. Then I found this glorious post, which will undoubtedly save my online poker career. I've been playing pure SNGs for the past weeks and rebuilt my bankroll up to $600. Sure it's a grind, but ...
