HELP! I can't get over the hump in MTTs! I'm looking for any and all advice on how to get past the mid-stages of a MTT and set up for a run deep into the money. I have no interest in playing to "just cash". Here's what I normally do: 1. I play tight at the very early stages of the tourney (first half-hour or so), waiting for good hands to pick up chips from loose players looking to build stacks. 2. Once the blinds get worth stealing, I'll start making raises with slightly weaker holdings (say JQ, AT, etc).
