Looking for staking agreement to play mid level MTT's on Merge
Interested in joining the Merge network with a staking agreement now that they are allowing US players to sign up and volumes are growing. I've had some past success and continue to look for improvement in my game. Open to listening to arrangements from a backer with a history here on P5's or on 2+2. Nice pick up there guys...... should be loads of fun. FTR, in this area (I live within 20 miles of sin and lefty) the rescues are absolutely redic to deal with and rarely have dogs that they're willing to part with for some reason. Lady and I looked around for like six months before buying one from a private owner. There's this idea out there that all these dogs need to be rescued and new homes need to be found but they drag you through so much bullshit around here, people eventually tell them to go fly a kite and head for the pet store. P.S. Go with fresh vegtables for 80% of his snacks, ...

OK dude you win... because statistics tell it all.... in 2009 slaps says the stats are 44.8% fastballs... and in 2011 it's 45.7% so the evidence is right there... same percentage of fastballs. Of course if 09 had 30% in the hitting zone and 2011 has 10% in the hitting zone' I'm not saying that's what it is... but how can you look at a stat and isolate it and it's importance to time, situation, circumstance... have you played the game' Are you going to hit more line drives and home runs from fastballs IN THE ZONE or from junk pitches IN THE ZONE' I'm not saying statistic don't tell a story, ...

Phillies lineup has been beyond medicore this season... they are winning with pitching. If Howard walks and Ibanez/Francisco/Victorino/ or whoever they fill the 5 and 6 holes with, taps into double play after double play, how is his walk helping them win' If you watch the games you'll see, they rarely challenge him. His OBP is actually pretty level and still above league average. I agree we probably won't see OPS like he had 07-09 again, he's just not going to see pitching good enough to achieve those marks.

krs33: Awesome pitching helped by the return of Utley. One guy I'd be worried about though is Howard. His peripherals have been ticking down for the past few years, but the change that worries me the most is his HR/FB%. He topped out at 31.8% in '08 and has trickled down consistently to 18.5% this year. And his ridiculous contract hasn't kicked in yet. This doesn't bode well for the Phillies in the future. OK... so I know this is going to be taken as the total homer view on Howard but.... He is simply a better hitter today than he's ever been. Do the number reflect this, certainly not, but ...

% of OT that is good at poker
I've been playing for as long if not longer than most of you (yes online too... back to Planet Poker and the PartyPoker glory days) and still love it as much as the day I pulled in that first pot. Unfortunately time doesn't necessarily make you a good player... but when I look back to where I was and where I am now, I'm pretty satisfied with my improvement. I've been very fortunate to have some big wins and the sense to click the CashOut button. I wish I had more time to devote to the game to see how far I could take it. Unfortunately, like many of you, it's recreation for me at this point, ...

Good time to buy Motorola stock?
Looks like they'll be first major vendor to market with an Android 3 (honeycomb) tablet... the Xoom. Dropped it in a bunch of celebrity laps this week to get the buzz going. Worth chancing a few sheckles on their stock' Probably going to go up on hype (then possibly down if they get returned like the Tabs) Any traders like this'

Steeler fan but this is obv an NFL marketing deal... he missed too much time, Matthews seems to have a lot of impact in the 4 or 5 games I caught. Edit: Guess I take this back... looks like Matthews missed 4 games too, meh... both damn good, will be fun to watch.
