good point ,,but i am a criminal defense attorney an your analogy is wrong. this isn't 'whatever you say can be used against you' not that standard. a simple 'i had no involvement whatsoever in the win by bluffcv' would suffice. instead he chose to deflect and dodge the main accusation

well stated... annette if you tolerate this crap online poker suffers.. again if phil ivey could in effect rebuy in the main event he would have a huge advantage. hell he wouldn't even play the 1st couple days, just wait and make a deal with a a donk with a decent stack.

sorel cheated period. ghosting is cheating, buying anothers seat after the mtt has started is cheating,multi tabling is cheating. imagine this scenario u make the wsop and somewhere in the middle of the tourney phil ivey says 'i'll play ur cards for you and we will split the profit" if this was allowed and therefore considered ethical and legal only a fool or a player just in it to have fun who would turn phil down . i was flamed a few weeks ago when i suggested that a donkplayer in a ftop event ft may have had some help and when he responded with a writing style similar to a great player it ...

ok i might believe you. whoever won congrats. but my roi full tracking is 33% over 1700 mtts ave buy in $16 , profit; a pathetic $9,000. trust me i know i suck ,i could make more at burger world. it just hard to believe that a player with over 100 mtt ,with a lower buy in average, that hasn't shown any ability to play, suddenly gets a second place in a major

i don't buy the moneymaker analogy. in fact i suspect the level of play in this mtt was somewhat better ,thanks to sites like this AND themoneymaker effect, than in the 800 player field that CM won. moneymaker won when very few people knew about the game and had played in hundreds of thousands of hands. most of us have played far more hands of poker in the last year (albeit not as well) as doyle did in his first 30 years. so yeah 2 players could have taken a shot and got lucky but doubt it. their past history says otherwise

i was watching the final 5 yesterday and decided to look up the players on opr. the eventual winner had no history but more surprising was the fact two of the players demonchild and lbisponger were micro donk losers with negative roi. i play at a slightly higher buy in level than they do and consistantly win money. i am usually at a 99+% rating but i am NOWHERE near as good as any of the players ranked in the top 100 and prabably at least 1000 others. when i play in these big mtts (and read posts from annette waco below etc) it becomes apparent how MUCH better the talent is in the bid ...
