The WSOP stands on its own 2 feet WSOP moved to June so Rio could fill rooms in Vegas's off season. Rio is booked for June and First week in July 100% now because of move, before only about 45%. 20% of guest at the Rio gamble on slot or table games, 95% eat at Hotel. How much is this worth' Close to 3 million in rake on main event only, All kinds of free advertisement for Harrahs and some sponser money. If ESPN did a better job of running the TV of WSOP, they use it as a filler and run same stupid segements over and over, the 500th time its ran rating went down OMG.

I wont be playing the Main Event, and I had planned on playing it. The more I think about it the more pissed I get. If it was like Golf or Tennis and sponsers put up the prize money than I could see it. Why 4 months, 2 weeks a month maybe I could understand. The dynamic of the game just changed, like only playing the 4th quarter in Basketball, putting a timelimit on baseball, taking away the option of running in football. Yes the final 9 will get more press and and probally get sponsered, But to fuck up the biggest poker event for that is a joke. Espn and Harrahs should have the WSOP taken ...

Harrahs and ESPN ran by money, they could careless about poker players and whats best for game. The part that its like the supper bowls is so stupid one week would be fine but 4 months is a joke. I had plannned on playing but now will not, I guess the best part is I dont have to be in Vegas in July now. No thought was put into this at all just greed.

This is a joke the site allowed cheating, has terriable costomer service, and has the biggest jerk in poker promotoing the site. End of story people are STUPID for playing there. We give them millions in rake and than put up with that. I don't and will not ever again.

Scott is a class act first and forthmost, anyone that has had the pleasure of running into him will tell you that. He has his priorities right, when its time to play poker hes 100% focused, no parting the night before or any of that stupid stuff. If he's not the best live tournment player in the world he is in the top 5. He's is at another level than anyone else I know. Great work Scott keep it up.

I have been lucky to make enough money to live from poker the last 5 years, but I find when I work 4-5 months a year I do lots better. I get lazy when I only play poker start getting up 1pm and playing late. Taking time off from game to work makes me enjoy poker much more. I make 60k working so that pays all my bill and poker lets me buy more houses, coach sports, and go to intresting places. Ive tried to play 12 months a year but can focus on anything that long I get bored with the game and play shitty than lose money. Re(4): Stars million Replays
Generally, the Replay tournaments run as follows: Quad shootout: Starts Tuesday at 12:00; loops until sometime Thursday. Sunday Million: Starts Friday at 12:00, loops until Sunday night or Monday. These dates are not a promise -- sometimes there are issues that delay the start. You may find the replay by selecting 'Tourney' --> 'All' and click on the 'ID' tab to make sure the lowest tournament ID is at the top of the list. Please note that you will have to turn off your tournament filters off as well as leaving the 'Show registering/upcoming only' option unchecked.
