Re:Flatting min raise w 1010 from BB
disagree here. yea you are gonna win the pot more often and take away 2 cards vs overs (not even all the time since he could have a9ss, 77 etc) but youre losing alot of value imo. after the flop you're 60% the way there and I cant imagine giving up roughly 7bbs when the pot is only 4.5 bbs is worth not seeing those 2 cards. Nevermind the fact that you can blow him off 22-99 on a KKQ flop. get it innnn

Re:THERES NO CRYING IN BASEBALL
It's not the reaction, it's the justification of the reaction. I don't know Annette at all, and I have notihng against her, this is just the main reason this thread is so big.

Re:THERES NO CRYING IN BASEBALL
I don't even know why people are talking about the hand so much. This thread is about her reaction to an opponent which was clearly out of line. 99% of us have these reactions from time to time and with this amount of money on the line, it would be easy to lose it for a lot of us. The reason this thread has grown so big is because Annette doesn't regret or apologize for her reactions. This thread should have nothing to do with poker itself, and everything to do with Annettes thoughts on treating people in real world situatations.

They had no problem recreating the playing card, what about a 4 color deck' They love being trendsetters, this would be a good one IMO esp for people with terrible vision

Re:Trips : played too weakly on flop or turn ?
Yea, his goal should not be to take down or get it HU on the flop. I like raising the flop for deception/value. At these limits people will have a tough time folding most pairs on the flop, figuring you would never raise an 8. With that said you didn't play it horribly, just unlucky.

The reason you didn't let Bax and Sheets know about it is because you know they would have no part of it because of how extremely wrong it is. You used to let your horses play on your account. (I'm assuming before Bax and Sheets picked you up) With all the shit youve posted about multi-accounters and how they deserve exactly what they get, and think its different because its you now is ridiculous. You took an an unfair edge, broke the rules, and your actions prove you knew it was wrong every step of the way, I can't see how you can have any common sense and see it any other ...

Re:Best play here?
I don't think you can jsut say open shoving 23 big blinds is bad. There's so many factors taht come into play. Like what if everyone at the table has 2 bbs, then you can profitably shove 100bbs with certain hands. There's only 1 person behind us who has us covered, the other 3 we are getting it in with anyways. Shoving reduces the big stacks calling range to like top 5% of hands. Yea if you get called your best case is a flip but the stack sizes are at the point where its still profitable to just grab the dead $$ and not flip. I mean you are getting it in when they have you ...

Re:Best play here?
You're job as a poker player is to determine what spots are profitable or not. Passing on profitable spots is -ev and the exact opposite of our goal.

Re:Best play here?
No, I think the big stack folds 96% of the time. The other 3 should have wider calling ranges. Also, assuming they do have the same calling range, I wouldn't be picking them up uncontested 96% of the time, it would be 84% since there is a 4% chance for each of the 4 remaining players to call.

Re:Best play here?
Agreed that when you are called you are going to be dead to AK, but it doesnt mean its gonig to happen often enough to make openshoving here worse than raise/calling. I'm not sure why you would want the KTs and A9s reshoving since you're equity edge won't outweigh the blinds and antes.

Re:Best play here?
Ty for the reply adam. I guess the biggest factor here is the big stack. With a calling range of 99+, AK and AKs, he is calling roughly 4% of the time and we're about a 7-3 dog. I expect him to fold AQs but it's not a definite. Is this really a big enough factor to force us to flip with a lot of hands instead of picking up the dead 9k in the middle'

Re:Best play here?
I think we can raise/fold to the big stack. His range is going to be pretty tight because I can cripple him and he wil be committed to the 3 people behind him if they wake up with a hand. I agree that we are going to have to call the other 3 if they shove. With that said, what are the pros/cons of open shoving if you intend to call anyone but 1 person'

Re:sick spot in the 500r wcoop
Agreed that good players will check AK on turn, rushed my thinking on this hand. They will be checking for some if not most of the reasons we are. QQ will call some smallish river bets but I guess we will never be making those because we will be v betting bigger to get value from AK'

Re:sick spot in the 500r wcoop
I really think c/c the turn is better than betting. I agree with AJK that the only hands he's calling or raising with on the turn are AK or a set. I also think it's easy to agree that Twisted is not raising AK on the turn. By checking the turn, you allow him to think QQ or JJ might be good and pay off a river v-bet and you give up absolutely nothing because he is not going to check AK behind you so SCTrojans argument about value on the turn doesn't really make much sense to me since he is folding all hands we beat besides one (AK) and is betting it for us if we check.
