Re(2): WPT niagara is rigged I think you are joking but im not sure as for the call at that point its 20k more to him in a 62k pot so 3-1 on his money and there is no way i make that move with anything less than 1010 for top set or QQ KK AA so he is drawing to 2 outs meaning he needs to have 10-1 on his money for it to even remotely a good call seeing that there are no more implied odds cause i have no more chips. Anyway i shoulda held cause he has now continued to donk off the chips that should be mine. Kim Low wont cash that is a for sure. WPT niagara is rigged I just took a very sick beat for chip lead of the tourney and now im busted. Kam Low the now chip leader with 130K is a complete donkey. Anyway i got 37k in midposition and i raise to 900 with 150/300 blinds and 50 ante. Cutoff calls, Kim Low calls and sits with 97k on the button, Eli Elezera calls from sb and bb calls. Flop comes 10h 6h 5c checked to me and i bet out 6k, the pot. Cutoff folds, Kim low instantly reraises to 16k everyone else folds and action is back to me. WPT North American Championship I won a seat last sunday and i was wondering what the best way to get into niagara falls was. Should i fly into buffalo and take some sort of taxi into canada' Or should i fly right into niagara falls' I havent found anything into niagara falls yet. I had $50 on dise back in november and decide i wanted to play a quick tourney (i expected to bust early) well anyway it was a $10 and i didnt realize that it was a satty into their sunday event. Playing to Win In the last three nights i have made 9 fts ($25-$75buy ins) and have had little success. 1 second and 2 thirds, the rest were all 6-8 place finishes. In these tournaments i have typically played very conservative until my table respects most of my raises, then i become a maniac raising almost every unopened pot when im in position until they catch on and i become more conservative again. This has allowed me to get a relatively big stack once we are itm. Near the ft bubble ive been even more aggresive raising almost 30-40% of all pots. Re(5): How far can you run $.86 up? In november i built up a br to about $1200 playing 1/2lhe and then skipped up to the 3/6 for some dumb reason. Shortly there after i lost everything except the orginal $50 deposit.. Depressed at the situation i was in i took the remainer of my money to sng's lost everything except $8 at which time a satty to the paradise sunday event was running. I won a ticket to the event then proceeded to win the event for $27000. I took most of the money out and i left a little online. Re(2): MTT Play I like to play tight and aggressive. Limping in with marginal hands can have the drawback of first, losing chips when you have a weaker kicker, straight or flush but also the amount of chips that you stand to lose each time you limp and secondly and more importantly it usually isnt profitable although some players can pull it off. If you are one of those players that can then give it a shot if not maybe a tighter style will work best for you. Oh and alot of people who limp in alot usually dont have the discipline it takes to switch gears when the blinds get big and stand to lose chips when ... Re(1): Terrible Donk Off or calculated Gamble. In my opinion you have to decide which is more important to you: position in the tourney or the amount of chips you stand to gain/lose from the hand. In your situation i mostly likely would have folded because you are 9th in chips and you can afford to give up the pot easily and at the same time remain in contention for the final table. The pot wasnt an absolute do or die and there was most likely a better spot that you could have picked. With 35 people still left being top 3 in chips doesnt mean much there is still alot of poker left to play, your 9th place standing would be more than enough ...
