Re:The Wretchy Saga comes to an end
1 accout or 40 ... it's still cheating. I guess if you want to rank cheaters JJ is worse, but I tend to think that they should all be lumped together as it's the actions of all of them combined who bring down the reputation of the game. One could argue that seeing the damage JJ has done, and the fact that the sites have gone to great lengths to clear up loopholes and misconceptions surrounding MA-ing that anyone who continues to multi-account is actually worse than JJ.

Re:The Wretchy Saga comes to an end
Seems like the only difference between JJProdigy and Wretchy is that at least JJ was 'intelligent' enough to come up with an explanation (albeit a completely stupid and unbelievable one) straight away, whereas Wretchy took over a week to come up with an equally ridiculous explanation. Andy McLeod pretty much hit the nail on the head (as he often does), and I think anyone that believes a single word of Wretchy's explanation is delusional. lol @ his designated cash game account playing only 140 hands. Very disappointing response from FT and PokerStars.

Re:LOOKING TO TAKE THE LEAP AS A PRO
I would guess that in the 4-5 years that I've been reading I've probably read hundreds, maybe even a thousand "should I turn pro" posts. Funnily enough, 99% of them were told it was a terrible idea, but 99% of them did it anyway. Not surprisingly, most of them have never been heard from again. If you have to ask if you should turn pro - the answer is almost certainly a resounding no.

I would gladly wear an Enron / Jeb Bush for President / Kill the Whales patch if they gave me a Buffet line pass. So I really can't see myself turning down $$ for wearing a small patch. I'd probably let them tattoo my forehead if the price was right !!!

Re:-So I got kicked out of the Venetian poker room
Mate, by your own admission you WEREN'T "trying to put the hand together" you were too busy "cussing out" the guy who called the clock on you. In future if you think you need some time, just politely say to the table hey guys I just need a few seconds here. Personally I think the guy who called the clock is a dick, but you took it personally and got distracted from what you should have been concentrating on. As such it cost you the pot and got you kicked out of the pokerroom.

Re:Australian poker players unite
I have just had a phone call from a friend who works for a Federal MP where I was given the following information. The list which was published on the wikileaks site IS indeed a blacklist of banned Internet sites, but it's not the Federal Government's list. It is the blacklist of a private internet filtering company - similar to NetNanny and many similar products out there which individuals can purchase for their home computers. The Federal Government's list DOES NOT INCLUDE legitimate online poker sites. I say legitimate because it's possible there are illegal offshore ...

Re:-So I got kicked out of the Venetian poker room
Sounds like you had already made your decision and just wanted a bit more 'Hollywood' time. Once the clock was called maybe you should have thought about the hand, rather than getting into an arguement with another player '' Saying you didn't have enough time is ridiculous - by your own accout you had 2 minutes and 20 seconds. If you can't make a decision in that amount of time playing 1/2 NL then you might want to re-evaluate your game.

Re:Australian poker players unite
OP, your information is completely incorrect. I have received a personal assurance from Senator Conroy's office that legit poker sites such as Stars and FullTilt will NOT be affected by the proposed filter. Feel free to PM me if you would like more information on this topic.

Make $20 by harrassing a scumbag !!
So DeadMoneyDonks on Full Tilt made a small bet with me yesterday and hasn't paid the $20 he owes me. I really couldn't care about the $20 - but figure if he isn't going to pay I should at least get some enjoyment out of it. So, I will give $20 to the person who tracks down DeadMoneyDonks at the tables (that's his FullTilt name) and gives him a hard time for failing to pay his debts. Humour is encouraged, threats of violence (however funny) are probably not acceptable. Yo Momma jokes score extra credit. Post the history of the tablechat here, and I'll send $20 to the ...

Re:OFFICIAL SCOOP* Schedule Released
Some of the responses in this thread are the exact reason why the rest of the World has an unfavourable view of Americans. Most Americans I know (and indeed many who post in this thread) probably accept that there are actually countries outside the USA which have internet access and people who enjoy online poker, but there are always a few who just don't seem to get it. Every single thing that Stars and FullTilt do revolves around the US Players - and yet you still cry foul. When you start getting up at 4am on MONDAY to play the Sunday Majors, or when you get home at 5:00pm on a weekday ...

Re:IM CALLING YOU OUT FRANKTHETANK
Wait, someone explain to me the difference between "ghosting" a major final table, and paying one of the hundreds of poker tutors out there for a "coaching" session '' I mean, watching a 'student' play a table whilst chatting to him on AIM or Skype or whatever is one of the most common forms of poker tutoring available right '' Where's the difference '' I'm not saying Threeven is wrong and Frank is right, but I really don't understand how this is such a big problem. As long as the player is wholly in control of the account (as opposed to the ...

I really can't believe no one has replied GET A JOB yet. If it was that easy to make 300-500 a week don't you think everyone would be a winning player doing it '' I mean, why stop at 300-500, why not just make $5k per week. You say you are equally good at cash and SNGs ... if making 300-500 per week was so easily achievable, why do you only have a 1500 bankroll '' Look, I'm not meaning to come across as a jerk here - but if I do I don't really care - BUT, if you are going to play 30-40 hours a week anyway, you seriously might as well just get a job. Looking at your SNG ...

Umm, so you let your friend finish a tournament for you huh '' You don't "usually" let people play on your account ... sure sounds like this wasn't even the first time. Isn't that cheating, and am I really the only person to mention this after we get through 4 pages and with all the current threads on cheating posted on this site'' Don't get me wrong it sucks that you got hacked and lost your BR, but if the World was fair and just, the sites should have banned you for cheating and confiscated your money anyway. In short - I hope all cheaters DIAGF.
