i enjoyed it, yeah you did seem awkward up there but that is part of your character. there are some things to be improved but your ad lib moments and timing seem good, just keep honing the material. i think you revisited the "dance" thing one too many times.... you are a good comedian sir! keep it up!

Things don't have to be said, they can be implied. For example, by focusing only on illegals committing this type of tax fraud and not mentioning that Americans do it and at a much greater cost to the taxpayer. If they wanted to point out the true flaw in the system it is the fact that this "Tax Credit" exists. You don't even have to commit fraud to actually make a NET profit on your tax return. There is the flaw in the system. I guess it's another way of redistributing wealth/welfare. So if you like that then you should like this Child Tax Credit.

I am wrong that you can't get back more than you paid because of EIC and Child Tax Credit. Feel free to gloat if you like. Regardless... To correct you the 20 children are claimed to have the same address, but are filed on separate tax returns. It's not one guy/return filing 20 dependents. As you said it has nothing to do with legal status, and no doubt there are many citizens who exploit the same credit. I'd rather have an honest system. Americans lie on their taxes, as do legal and illegal immigrants. Immigrants are a huge benefit to this country, both low and high skilled ones. This "news investigation" is made to feed public fears & anger about immigrants. I have met or known too many legal/illegal immigrants here in CA to not get pissed off about reports like this coming from middle America states. Indiana is like 85% white and 9% black. You don't have a case. That is why you hire an inspector, to find these things out. You don't get your money back when you do. That is such a small amount of money it's not worth going to court over IMO. Time to forget about that place and continue on your search. Good luck...

Options for found dog
Best option is for you to take care of the dog. 2nd best is take to Humane Society, dog might get euthanized there but that is better than a miserable life with his old owner. I would never take a dog to a "no-kill" shelter. Some of those places keep the dogs for years and years living in a concrete/chain link kennel. Again, better to euthanize the dog that put it through that.

Buying a house with a non-permitted Remodel
We bought a home about 14 months ago in CA. It was built in the 50's and had non-permitted work done. The longer the house has been around the greater the chance of this happening. You want something with all the permits good then you look for newer construction. Anyway, we liked the place and understood the risks. The insurance company could deny some claims potentially. I don't know how the city inspectors would find out (unless it's street side and your city trolls street looking for violations). As long as you get on with your neighbors you should be okay. Poll: Multi Entry Tourneys on FTP
I think the poll choices should be this: -I didn't like MET week at all, I hope they don't run it again -I liked it as is, once a year is good -I loved it, would like to see it more often like FTOPS I voted in current poll but found it a little confusing. Petition to stop FTP from ruining Double guarantee's week
I'd like to see how this plays out. I think it's good for large field MTTs. I think this would be a problem for smaller MTTs. You could have 3 of your 4 buy-ins make ITM and get merged and still end up losing money. I can only see this scenario happening in MTTs that pay just the final two tables. Example: Weekly PLO8 $216 4 entries = $864 Final 18 paid 3 of your 4 entries make it ITM, two are merged into one for final two tables, you bust out 18th and 14th, getting paid $321 and $321. So three of your four entries made ITM and yet you didn't even cover your buy in. Or am I not ...

George Washington and Thomas Jefferson grew cannabis. The only reason I brought them up is because the Founding Fathers/Constitution are almost deified by some people in the United States. Maybe not the people who read poker forums but who knows. Also their ownership of slaves is well known publicly while their farming of hemp is not.

Ciastro, they said the same thing about medical marijuana. They threatened people back in 1996, saying whatever law the state passed wouldn't matter because of federal drug laws. Let them try. Let them prosecute people and draw attention to the fact that they are going against the will of the millions of voters who supported and passed this referendum. George Washington and Thomas Jefferson grew cannabis. This plant was legal and unregulated until 1937. That is 161 years. Look into the marijuana tax act and see the reasons behind it. You'll be surprised.

Petition: KO Tshirts
FTP wouldn't do this because part of giving t-shirts out is grass roots marketing. People see people wearing the shirts. You can still donate 10$ to charity. Just sell the shirt on 2+2 marketplace for 10$ and then donate the money. This is best.....someone gets a shirt they want, they wear the shirt in public and potentially bring people to the site, and the charity of your choice can get the money.
