Calculating percent of field beaten
Does anyone have a good formula for excel that will calculate the percent of field beaten in tournaments' I thought I had it, and tested with an easy number using a 10 person field, if I finish 5th, the following formula returns 55.5%. Is that right' =SUM((I6-J6)/I6)/((I6-1)/I6) assuming I6 is the total field, and J6 is my placement. Help! Thanks :)
