Why do you think that the best cash game players in the world dont win the world series every year...BECAUSE THE # OF PEOPLE IN A MTT MATTERS!!! Cash games...absolutely I crush those...but crushing 50NLH isnt going to get me very far very fast....hence the reason that a big tourney score is absolutely imperative to most people...its a bank roll boost, which is what A LOT of pros did to REALLY get ... Re(2): IS THERE AN EDGE ANYMORE? absolutely understandable...but a 90% ROI playing 5 and 10 dollar MTTs isnt really going to get you very far...a 90% ROI playing 55r and 100r will be substantial...again...its all about bankroll...trust me im not just whining and felling sorry for myself...i am 25 years old and make a 6 figure income working for the largest pharmaceutical co. in the world......so if i wanted to i could just buyin to these big tourneys, but i want to become a better poker player and work my way through the rankings.
