Golf story/brag...
So I"m bored on a rainy Monday with no work thought I woul brag a little bit and see if anyone has any similar stories. I've been about a scratch golfer since high school finished 8th in the State as a senior, played a little bit in college but liked to party too much for college sports. Moral of the story: I'm an avid golfer and play 3-5 times a week. The last year has been the most amazing golf year I have ever heard of for myself, or anyone for that matter. Baseball Memorabilia help...
My dad has a baseball autographed by the entire 1966 Atlanta Braves team. This was the first year they were in Atlanta and had some pretty big names: Hank Aaron, Phil Niekro, Eddie Mathews, etc... He doesn't want to sell it or anything but we were just curious as to how to much it was worth. Where do you get something like that appraised' Is there an official certification he should get for future use' Any help is appreciated.

i shot 69 on the day, pretty good but when your 5 under on 3 holes its not so impressive. i did win $260 in our gangsome though so a pretty good day at the course.

Hole in one (brag)
Been a scratch golfer since high school but never had a hole-in-one, until today. To top that my first one ever came on a PAR 4. Number 16, Blair Park GC 332 Yard dogleg right. Risk/reward hole because you can carry the trees on the right but if you don't, your fucked. To top it off I birdied the next and final two holes, a par 3 and a par 5. I know no one really cares but I had to share with someone.

Well I started working maintenance at a golf course at 15. I got my turfgrass management degree and now I use that degree to run a fairly successful landscaping business. I love grass, plants, and working in the dirt, but I still dread waking up every morning to go through the same routine. So I guess its more the idea of a job then the actual work itself.

Sports Betting Question
So I bet this past weekends Accenture Match Play golf Championship. I bet $50 on Tiger at +140. This was with a bookie over the phone so I never actually gave him the $50 per say. So what should I be owed' Do I get just the $20 which would be the balance of the $70 win minus the original bet of $50. Or do I get $70' I don't usually bet money lines but am trying to figure it out. Thanks for any help.

Tell him to stay away. Not for legal reasons but more for sanity reasons. Girls at that age think they know everything and know exactly what is best for them. Unless she is some super slut she is going to "fall in love" with the older guy, he's going to get tired of hearing about high school drama, they break up and she goes crazy. That's what 16 year old girls do. Now if she has already been around the block a few times and she isn't going to turn into a "stage 5 clinger" than its all good.

You can't just say "I did it too, don't be stupid". That is basically like you giving permission for them to do this every weekend. We all know high schoolers are going to drink but as an "guidance" figure and role model you have to let them know that this is unacceptable. Don't kick em off the team or anything but either a private talk with those girls or a talk with the whole team to let them know you do not condone their actions is your best route, IMO High schoolers will drink but just think of some of the ignorant things you did when you were that age and drunk. You just can't be seen ...
