Re:Petition for more $22 and $33 freezeouts on stars! Cosign...How about 10EST. Perfect time for a decent freezeout. Right now the only thing at that time is the 10 rebuy and a $15 with no guarantee. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Reno Poker Question Thanks guys! Peppermill is like $86 with taxes for their cheapest room. Not going to break me, but there seems like there are decent options for almost half the price. How about Tahoe. Places to stay/play' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Reno Poker Question Anybody know if the three casinos joined together (Silver Legacy,ElDorado & Circus Circus) have any decent poker' Also thinking about staying at Silver Legacy - Anybody recommend it' Sounds like Peppermill is a good place to play, from an earlier post, but they are a little pricier. Re:Announcing NEW $25+2.50 tournament on UltimateBet Annie, Glad you are listening and defintely making progress on the schedule. I vote for non-turbo, but you could always make it a turbo once a week( or something similar.) I am in the CST time zone and i would still like to see a mid-range guarantee at 10 or 10:30 est. One of the most successful long running tourneys was the 30+3 freezeout at 10EST(before the 30 rebuy was put in that timeslot.) One suggestion is to move the 15 deep stack to 10 or 10:30 est and slap a guarantee on it and move a 10+1 with no guarantee to 9:40 est timeslot. Thanks Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:The New UB Tourney Schedule Totally agree. The mid-level tourneys without guarantees have been useless in the past. The other pm scheduled tourneys catered to the $100 and higher or the micros in the past and I dont see how that has changed with this schedule. UB has always lacked common sense, no matter what changes are made or who has been in charge. This new schedule is a perfect example. Yeah getting Annie to consult is a good idea, but doesnt look like there was any input or consulting from the regular player's perspective. This needs alot of work! Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Reno/Tahoe - Hotels,Tourneys & Cash Going out to Reno/Tahoe in July for the first time. Any suggestions on where to stay and play would be helpful. I am trying to keep this half-way economical on the room, but nothing too cheap. For poker are there any good daily/weekly tourneys and what is the best spot for cash. Thanks, M Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Bodog - BPO The buy-ins for these tourneys surprise me. I would of thought they would have kept it around $100 with the main event around $200. They did so good the one time they raised their guarantee to 200K for their Sun major. Their satelites would be more affordable for the gamblers to get involved. I guess we'll see what kind of turnout they get, just seemed it would have been more value with something a little lower. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(6): Which presidential candidate gives online poker the best chance to survive? Adam, McCain has lead anti-gambling bills before albeit mostly against sports gambling. Google - McCain - antigambling articles. I did not know about him meeting with PPA, sounds like he is opening his mind on the subject. Usually when a political figure makes any kind of stance it is not open for discussion. Anyways, that is where my viewpoint came from. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): St. Louis Casino Action Harrah's is about 20 min from downtown has a nice room of about 20 tables. They spread 1/2 200 and 2/5 500. Ameristar is about 5 minutes from Harrahs and they also have a decent room . Their buyin for 1/2 is 300 and they spread more Omaha games there. The new casino is Lumiere Place and is located downtown across from the dome where the Rams play. They spread 1/3 300 and 2/5 500. I have not played at Lumiere yet(only been open a month), but generally all places have a mixture of players and all pretty much beatable. The President is also downtown but kinda dumpy with only 1/2 100, and since ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Tuuunnnnnniiiiiiiicccccccaaaaaaaaaa! Sanka, Cash games are very juicy. My favorite when I went in Sept for the WSOP Circuit was the 1/3 at the Grand, but you can basically pick and choose at any level you want. WSOP Tourneys increased their starting chips on all their tourneys in Sept, so hopefully they will keep that same structure. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): 1/2 @ the President in St. Louis It really depends on when you play. Playing when Rams/Cards or any other event attract alot of fish/tourists type. i played during weekdays and there are mostly regulars and tends to be a tight game. Plus I hate the max buy-in of only $100 on the $1/2. if they would raise this limit it would help loosen it up. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): Best Way to Accumulate $26 Tokens on FTP? Token Frenzy tourneys by far IMO. The 18 man 8.70 have big variance and you have to cash in 1 out of 3 to break even, which is very possible but not alot of value. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Big Updates on Absolute -- Resizable Tables! i dont see many mid-range freezeout tourneys (non-rebuy)with guarantees ($20-$50) buy-ins. I see a $30 rebuy at 10 est with a 15K guarentee, same time as UBs $30 rebuy! Doesnt make any sense. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): Sportsbook Withdrawal Fee, $30? Suited - Unfortunately this is common practice with this kink of withdrawal method. This is the way money was given out before the nettellers and firepays and they usually always charge a $30 fee, so the $250 rule isnt that bad. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(7): Full tilt yes cap you are right i did and here is why. If you look at full tilt structure they have alot of levels. so early on there is good play, but with the 6 min levels they got so high with 20 left it was push/fold or get blinded off and it took awhile to get to twenty, over two hours. So with 10 min levels i would say 4 hours Posted in: Poker Discussion |
