I'm serious! I still play on Bodog, and I tried Carbon, and there are literally NONE filling up. I can't wait hours (if that would even be long enough). It's insane. I'm sick of 6-9 man Single table SNG's on Bodog. But that's all there is! There is just no US traffic!!!!!!!!!!

Carbon Poker is the ultimate bad beat site
Never ran as bad as on carbon poker. If you want to laugh and spew your roll, put some money in there. I've run reeeally bad for long periods, but this a new level of suck-outage. If I was a forum idiot, I'd be saying, "this is proof that online poker is rigged!!!!!" It's that bad. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!

Anyone tried Carbon poker money transfer deposit option? Looks shady!!
This appears to be the only option that will work for US players. I have failed on every other option. Sending money via Western Union to a person in the Phiipines or Manila' GTFO!'!''! I feel my "sucker" alarm going off! Anyone done this and succeeded''' Pretty piss-poor looking option, even if it does work. Hard to imagine loads of people being comfortable with this.

Ever fall asleep and blind out of a tourney?
$2.5k gtd, top ten with 600 to go, fell asleep for 2.5 hours, 10:30 to 1am...didn't feel that tired. Hand history showed I had the following during the sit out : KK,JJ,JJ,AKo,AKo,TT,TT,AQd,AQo Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!

He probably figures on turn he has fold equity plus a pair, plus oesd, so even if you have a huge hand, he can call with odds. Plus, your first 3 moves look weak: call min. raise pf, check\ call flop, check turn... he is trying to get you off the hand, and I don't blame him. He is obv. pot committed on turn bet, but he is too strong for you to play sooooo passively before then. I'm not saying his play is spectacular, but it is not horrible, and it is understandable given what he sees from you. I hate river suck outs too, but you have to figure he has a hand and is trying to protect it, even ...

Thanks a lot for the feedback all! Nice to know I'm not the only late night parent grinder! I would add that Rush poker has helped me squeeze in a lot more tourneys than before. And I can always crank some Rush cash after the tourney! I RARELY have time for full blown MTT's.

Day job, young family and poker
I love playing online, but with a day job and two young kids, I can really only play at night after the kids are asleep, or sometimes during weekend days. I am trying to enjoy my kids growing up as much as possible. The price I pay is that I feel like I am ALWAYS tired, esp. during the week. I try to make up for it by sleeping later on weekends, but I can only stay in bed until 8 or 9 AM. I try to eat well and am pretty active, but the late nights add up. Many weeks I get 3-5 hours a night. Anyone else out there in the same boat' What to do' Thanks!

Standard MP 6x open raise with the Ace-rag, then 100+ BB re-shove, standard MTT play again oh yeah, NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! He obv. thought you were re-stealing, but should realize that you are pot committed after your raise, so he must have thought he was ahead. Fucking brutal.........

fucking donk-outs and 3 outers and piss poor play making me sick; AT beats AK A8 beats AK A2 beats AK QQ beats KK-standard-ish 99 beats KK all aipf, all bust-outs gutshot w/ace beats KK KJ beats KQ ai on turn, 3 outer river these are just the ones I can remember; my current downswing is incredible. the play is so fucking bad, and my fucking hands just won't fucking hold up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RUSH POKER= MEGA DONKS
Wow-I can't believe the piss-poor play in the Rush tourneys; I can get called by ANY ace anytime for a shove. Good for getting it in ahead. Bad for racking up massive quantities of bad beats in a short time. No reads, image, just ace-rag, draw-chasing, top pair no kicker fucking donkage. I can't decide if I'm glad about the horrible, play money donkfest that is rush poker, or happy that I just need to not get donked (which I almost always do) to go far. I can't even berate the fucking moron who just cracked my KK with A7o because he's fucking gone-fuck!

In the SNG's that I win or FT (<$10 45 to 180's-mostly turbos), it seems that I get a big stack early by winning a huge pot or two, and continue to be towards the top all the way. When I don't go deep, I am usually card dead (and my bluffs and c-bets aren't working), or I take a brutal pre-flop shove beat early while wayyy ahead, as in AA vs. TT, AK vs. AQ, etc. I find it hard not to shove when a guy is re-raising into my AA-QQ early on; I hate to leave money on the table by playing big hands more slowly. I have heard two general philosophies: Don't play huge pots ...

I am not running bad. I have offended the poker gods. And they are giving me the heartfelt "fuck you" by dealing me a longgggggg string of bust-outs,mostly 2 and 3 outers many of them on the bubble or deep. I keep reading, "just keep playing" so I have been, and the gods are grinding my teeth into the curb. I'm not on tilt, but I'm in shock. NOTHING is holding up. I've played way more tourneys than normal today, with no relief. I know, it's poker, but usually I don't run THIS fucking bad.... So I'm giving up for the day. It's a fucking joke.

I don't mind it at all: lp first in raise with s\c raise the flop probe bet with tp-that lead looks suspicious so far so good.... Remember, almost NOBODY ever folds a fucking flush draw (at lower levels); if they have the ace, you can't get them to fold with a gun. Plus, you're not out yet. I think you can make a case either way, but I like the flop jam you did. Gotta run well to win tourneys, just ask Joe Cada.
