FT Cashier Issue Anyone else getting charged twice on FTP deposits' I hadn't played on there for almost 18 months, and I deposited $700 in 3 separate transactions Friday and Saturday - I have since been charged twice for each deposit and also been charged $21 for some fee called: What is this fee' An International Transaction Fee is assessed when you use your check card for purchases in foreign currency or in US dollars with a foreign merchant, including U.S. internet transactions with a foreign merchant. This fee is also assessed when you use your check card or ATM card to obtain foreign currency from ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:I am horrible...how do I play KK differently on all streets? I agree with your main line of though against real opponents. But we're talking about a $10 donkfest on FTP - no offense to anyone that plays them - but the majority of players in these are REALLY awful, and the c-bet will allow you to get an idea of where you are in the hand. It's not a play I would make in a $100 buy in or above, but at this level I strongly feel it's the right/necessary play. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:ESPN Sportscenter closing comment: The WSOP has begun, and right across the street so has the World Series of Uno... Dude, he made a joke about card games being covered by Sportscenter. Not some OMG THEY SHOULD MAKE POKER ILLEGAL!!!!!!!!!!!!! comment. You are reading WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY too much into this, and giving the moronic SC anchors too much credit to think that they could make some political statement. I honestly thought your post was a joke when I first read it - I really can't believe you think this is some kind of pro-legislation statement. This is ESPN, not Fox News. Take a deep breath and rethink this. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Anyone have success grinding KO Sng's on FTP? They are definitely +EV in the long run but the players in them, from the $3 to the $26 level are flat out awful - push from the button with any A or K, chase every draw, even for all your chips, etc. It's a true minefield and it takes a lot of patience to deal with the play - but in the long term if you play a good TAG game you will find them profitable. Re:UB Cashouts Wow guys, thanks for all the feedback! I'm headed to Aruba next week, and I'd like to take my casino money out of my poker money - ya know, keep it all in one place. So it sounds like maybe if I do an express cashout today that might actually work. Last questions - has anyone ever done a wire transfer with them, and how long does that take.... ANDDDDDDD - how easy is it getting them the info they ask for to take out more than $3K or whatever that limit is. Thanks again guys, much obliged. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:I am horrible...how do I play KK differently on all streets? If you had c-bet the flop, which I think you should have, you would have gotten all the info you needed. At the $10 donkament level on FTP, 99 percent of the players will insta "raise pot" with an A on that flop. If he smooth calls your gold, and if he folds, well it's already over. Just my thoughts. Re:Cash hand- help please I think you cry call here. I think it's just as reasonable to assume that he repopped you pre with 88-JJ as it is AK or KK. If I'm the BB, I'd think why in God's name would you raise UTG with AA or KK' Those are hands you want to ENCITE action with, not scare it away. He repops you there because if you have a huge hand, and maybe even QQ, you're gonna get another bet in before the flop, and I can get off my weaker pair without having to navigate a potential tricky flop. At these limits, I may be wrong, but this would be my line of thought here. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): need a litlle advice here please!! Personally, I hate and fear TT with a passion, and I look for any excuse to muck it, as no matter how I play it, it's a loser. I'd have to give him AK or AQ here - something he can create fold equity with while not being terrible afraid of a call from your weak/standard button raise and the SB's even weaker limp behind. Just my opinion tho. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

SCAM ALERT There is a guy on FTP posing as Plotinus - I think he's going by the name P1otinus or PIotinus... Either way, he finds you at the table and asks if you have epassporte, then gets you on IM and tells you he'll send you 1250 on FTP if you senf him 999.99 via Wester Union... He then called me from 248-231-2870. His SN on AIM is xotremeox Just a heads up all. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): What in the World is P5's Staff Thinking?!?!?!? How about this Dela.... The rankings are a way of ranking one's skill in the game of poker, but of course in this case we are dealing with internet poker. If JJ had done this in live poker, he would never be allowed to set foot in a casino again - so why is it so "VERY disappointing" that this is even being discussed in the realm of internet poker' Is JJ an incredible player' Unquestionably, he is one of the best around - but there has to be some kind of ethics involved at some point... albeit an ironic concept when we are discussing gambling that is illegal in this country. Re(3): Should I have played this differently? thats not what I was asking, I was more asking about my bet on the flop... should I push there, or was the smaller than pot bet the right play... obviously he felt weakness from my play, because he came over the top with his hand, and then sucked out when the money was in - so my question is more on my play in the pivotal bet between the flop and the turn. with the "wit's end" I wasn't talking about this beat in particular, I just am seeing a lot lately that are similar, so I am asking for advice on the plays I am making to see if I should be playing differently. Re(2): FT on of stars 22 rebuy I am not one of the "better players" on here, but I understand your play on the 89, and if that makes me a "fish" than so be it. The preflop call is probably the most questionable - with that kind of reraise I cant see how you'd put him on any pair worse than 88, or any A weaker than ATs - but you made the right read so I would obviously have been wrong. I don't know why everyone is jumping down your throat about "calling off" your last 350K into a 420 K pot - now you're looking at 3:1 odds on a hand where you have at least 8 outs, or 14 if you still hold the weak missed A theory, and if you ... Re(1): $24+2 full tilt I busted early too, but I play the 8PM and 10PM every night, they are fish central, and lately the prize guarantees are being blown out of the water - 8PM is usually about 2K over, and last two nights the 10 PM has been more than 5K over. I havent won one of these in a while, but I have had consistent money finishes and probably a dozen FT's in the last two months or so. GREAT TOURNEYS! Posted in: Poker Discussion |
