***Immigration Policies Thread***
My understanding from the stars text, among other stuff I've been reading is that you'll need a residence/house abroad, utility bill, and bank acct, all within that same country. Stars FAQ says they want something like a new photo ID from the country of residency and a utility bill... thus I'm doubting somehow that showing a short-term lease agreement(which is hardly comparable to a government issued ID) in a vacation rental in country 'x' would be adequate proof of residency. That seems too easy somehow. Citizenship is much more difficult to obtain, and unnecessary for many of us for what ...

Re:Blind vs blind shove 100r what do u think??
yea after having given it more thought, I guess I'm expecting wretchy to give us credit on a bvb raise here but he'll only give us credit x outta 100 times(not many). I think urite tho cause there will def be more instances where he wont give us credit and I guesst that far out-weighs the times that he will, esp given what grip said bout losing chips 100% of time to reshoves when we fold n losing out on the times we can make money by taking flips here. thx for ur insights

Re:Blind vs blind shove 100r what do u think??
GL with what plan' U rlly think I'm saying it's optimal to make this play 100% of the time or even often' grow up. this is hand/image/player/spot specific. wretchy folds more hands to raise than reshove n our hands are simply beat when wretchy does reshove n I like pulling out different plays once in awhile. To me this is one of those spots. fight me irl.

Re:Blind vs blind shove 100r what do u think??
I draw the line by saying that in this particular case i like r/f. I'm not saying this is correct to do a large % of the time. In a vacuum we can all argue to shove it I'm sure. When ericB opens bvb, and wretch reshoves... what range is wretchy reshoving' And how well does k6o run vs what wretchy is reshoving vs a known solid reg' As long as ericB isn't r/f in all or many of these spots and only pulls out a move like this once in awhile, I think it flies. If a player is known to make weird short stacked r/f's often or even somewhat regularly, I could see why it'd be bad ...

Re:Blind vs blind shove 100r what do u think??
i'm honestly having trouble understanding how open shoving is better when wretchy is calling with more in his range to a shove than he'd be apt to calling/reshoving to an ericB 15bb open bvb. I think the raise looks so sick n gets a few extra hands in wretchys range to fold out. Wretchy might have the guts to call a shove with k6s. But will he have the guts to reshove k6s into an eric B open' When Eric is holding k6o... arent we looking for a way to get the most hands to fold out form our opponent' And isn't it beyond clear that open raising gets more of wretchys range to fold ...

Re:Blind vs blind shove 100r what do u think??
wretchy will never flat any of his range here imo. if wretchy calls a shove with a theoretical range of like kxs+, but only will play a hand bvb to an open raise (meaning he'd be reshoving), he'd reshove LESS of those Kx hands that he'd normally call off with here (like he might call off with k6s to an open shove but he wouldn't reshove this hand). Simply put, more hands will fold to an open raise than open shove. When wretchy shoves a solid player's short-stack open bvb, he'll have hands that beat k6o. while this hand may generally be an open shove spot, i think ...

Re:Blind vs blind shove 100r what do u think??
he's not folding his Ax or Kx hands to an open jam EVER. i think the best way to get him to fold the biggest part of his range to us is r/f here. If wretchy reshoves he'll prob have one of those top-ish hands that we wouldn't have wanted to jam into anyway, n we jus fold (still with over 10bbs). If he's calling jams with Ax/kx, BUT not necessarily reshoving ALL of his ax/kx range to an open here... then open is clearly the most profitable n gets the most hands out uncontested without ever risking our tourney life.

Re:What would you do?
In lower stakes you know they all limp tons... so it's not like we can really assume anyone is limping as a trap ... I think that's giving them far too much credit. I think the only person you really need to worry about having a bigger hand than u is the first limper(which still is like sooo unlikely). The other limpers behind rarely if ever limp behind with a bigger pp than your TT. Once the 20bb stack moves in... I'd assume that you're usually good here... cause wouldn't he just raise limpers with a hand such as JJ+ ' Why would he just shove' So yea, I think this is def ...

We ALL know of or are the friends with people who do play or have played underage in the recent years passed. Respectable players. Should all of them crash n burn and have their under-aged accounts go up in flames when stars/ftp realizes that the acct is under their mom's name or some shit' I won't even say names... but I can think of helllllla people playing underage or who have ....who are RANKED RESPECTED players in the community here. Do all of them deserve a ban immed' If so... I'd like to see u all flame them in this post outwardly... years after the fact. Some of them ...

Re:Girls and poker
Coming from a female who plays cards full time.... I think that most woman who want "futures" or are "future-oriented" know that financial security is needed to raise and maintain a healthy and happy family life. I think that for many woman, this is a priority. The prospect of being with a poker player means that we as women would need to accept that our partner's JOB choice may not be their career in the long run do to the uncertainty that comes with playing poker for a living. And the older we get, the more woman will expect you guys to have your life together... ...

Re:Just how bad are other grinders sleeping patterns?
I live on the west coast ,so I'll usually be done playing at a reasonable time. But even so, I still find myself unable to sleep on any kind of normal schedule. The earliest I can ever fall asleep is like 4-5am. More often however, it's more like 7-9am n wake up between 1-4pm. It's pretty gross.

Re:Self brag and UB Question
Yea I've found the same thing oddly. I'm not sure if I ever deposited on UB tho... I may have had to do the 10$ deposit thing in order to take money off.... but yea.. I was never asked for ID which shocked me. They flagged a transfer for 50$ from my acct(the smallest transfer I'd ever made via my acct in my time on the site) and required ID for me to make/receive transfers from that point on (which to me meant they thought my acct was shady)... but they still went on to wire over 30k to my bank acct during this same time frame, again without ANY confirmation of my identity. This ...

Re:Bodog Problems?
Why are we all getting different stories here' Call me a conspiracy theorist... but it seems to me that bodog would NEVER send out a message saying that a tourney which had all ready started play was canceled due to "insufficient amount of players" unless that were absolutely the case. I'm sure they knew/know that such a message would cause a shit parade. It clearly would be an unethical practice. Seems like they figured that out by the time I had called them, as they responded that the problem was a server issue. shady business you ol' dog, you.
