Ex-Professionals that moved on since BF...
Seriously playing online poker for a living has major perils: You will probably go broke at some point no matter how good your are. You will probably pay emotionally for the continued harsh lifestyle. There is no free lunch in life. Use your talents productively. Most poker players are smart and have the innate ability to get a good job or become an entrepreneur. I did it and have made seven figures (yes brag) and play poker for a hobby. Life is good....play it to win.

Andy Beal worth 4.5 billion
Remeber him. Played against the corporation (doyle, todd, jennifer harmon, Ivey, etc) in the big game. Beal was the biggest gainer in the Forbes 400, buying distressed loans and assets. Gates, Buffett, down for the year.

Re:$1500 W.S.O.P. event.....
I'm going to play the $1500 (June 29). I was thinking the exact same thing. I'm planning playing a little more agressive and possibily 'trapping' in order to attempt to get chips early. So you'll probably see me drinking at the bar early day one. gl

Re:Just offered a free 200+15 sniper tourney entry from UB
I am curious if there are stipulatons or conditions to this offer so I tried calling their sales department three times (recommended number in their email). I got music and then disconnected all 3 times. Oh well. I did email them the same question.

Re:Just offered a free 200+15 sniper tourney entry from UB
Don't think that's the spirit of the offer. I assume they would want me to continue to play do to the fact that I am receiving value from them. However, you're right in that there are no conditions to the offer.

Thanks....that is fast. Seems like most people still don't trust UB. Software was having some problems when I was playing. I don't know who's more unpopular UB or Cory Zeidman.

Re:My downfall as a online poker player
You have an impluse problem similar to an addiction problem. Bad beat on MTT...then lose big in cash. This negative patten can be broken by immedately doing something different once you experience the 'bad beat.' After your bad beat turn off your computer and immediately go do something different. i.e exercise, leave the house, laugh for two minutes (i know sounds stupid), play a video game, etc. You need to break your mental patten (neuro pathways) of always going to a cash game as a result of your bad beat. Once you can effectively do this then go back to what you're good at. ...

Re:I just made a citizens arrest
I caught a convitced felon (on probation at the time) stealing credit cards out of my mailbox. Apparently, the guy had been ripping off my mailbox for a few weeks and I just happened to pull up to my house and saw this guy in a white camaro, drive up to my mailbox and take my mail. He saw me and took off and thus our high speed chase began. I pursued him for about ten miles as he ran red lights and speed on and off the freeway. I called 911 and to make a long story short a highway patrol was hiding on the side of the road pulled guy over. This idiot actually got out of the car,the patrol ...

Call me crazy: Bet $100 on Ravens to win the game straight up.....pays $205. Bet $900 on Ravens +6......pays $810. Laying off the Arizona/Pitt game. Cards are too unpredictable.
