Top pair @ FT of UB $500 vs Very Aggro Reg I agree that its close between shoving or calling pre......you def have to check raise that flop tho, having JT, QT or KT is irrelevant in this situation with those stack sizes, obviously you would prefer to have KT, but you would have to check raise the 3 of them. 100re 6max hand. I think best line by far in flop is checking, basically for the reasons that rock stated......absolutely no clue how moorman can say that if you check flop you deserve to be shot, its quite the contrary without history. As spewy it may seem you should prolly check/call if he fires flop and check/fold turn, just cuz by check/calling flop your hand looks very very strong and he will almost never throw 2 barrels on a bluff or semibluff in that spot, but he could def be able to barrel the flop. If he checks you obv have to decide betting amounts you think he will pay off with worst hands in his ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

HSMTT 1k interesting all in spot.. I call because its AK lol and its less than 1/3rd of my stack, then I pray that the allin caller has QQ and not AK because these two are usually the top of his range, but they are also the most likely hands he could have.....oh, and from my experience the initial shover usually shows up with JJ here, and less frequntly other pairs and AK, but def never AA or KK.....ooor, the three of you could have AK and you'd be in for a nice sweat to hit your flush!! call!!! miniftops hand vs an unknown if this is not a level, preflop is fine/standard and should not be in discussion, of course folding is more standard and easier but w/e. flop is good, barreling turn is good although you can also go for a check with inention of calling a brick river most of the times, since he is going to be drawing here often. That being said, barreling is good too, but it just seem like a really easy fold when he raises you. Getting into complicated spots and mind games with randoms starting a big MTT with a weak field is really not wirth it, and I feel stupid telling you this cuz Im sure you know it pretty ... river spot vs a Pokerccini overshove you should always bet this river at this stage of the tourney though, this is not particularly a spot where good players are gonna bluff missed draws and such vs randoms, so you are basically giving up on a lot of value cuz he calls you down with a wery wide range of hands that are behind you, and you have an easier decision when he shoves over your bet (fold), because there is like zero chance he bluff-shoves on you if you make a decent sized bet. Re:Accounts Hacked, Lessons Learned I feel pretty stupid for not having these good security measures working for my poker accounts. And seriously OP that is really fucked up I genuinly hope these people have the worst coming for them, and they will. I would realy really appreciate if some one told me how to activate these RSA tokens on Fulltilt and pokerstars. I was trying to do it today on fulltilt but I think you have to purchase it first in the full tilt store to then activate it, however, Im a retard and failed in the purchasing part. Re:Deep in MiniFtops 9....Do you call this????? I know calling 20bb there doesnt look good with 55, but its virtually the same scenario as if it folded around to the SB and he shoved those 20bb, except that with the guy thats allin theres a bit more chips in the pot. So you guys are basically saying that if it folds around to the SB and he shoves for 20BB we are folding 55 in the BB''' Idk it seems exploitble.... fwiw I did fold and I think its fine, Im just not sure if calling is correct here, maybe someone can math it up a bit. tx for responses. Re:Most obvious collusion I've seen in six years of poker Well, at least I got everyone to learn how to spell my country correctly . And no, the fact that someone misspells it doesnt tilt the hell out of me, I was just exaggerating and trolling cuz its an internet forum lol. I do think it shows a pretty big level of ignorance that Northamericans would not know how to spell a country from South America though. I would never get bothered by a european or an asian spelling a southamerican country incorrectly for example. And no, I do not know how to properly spell every country in the middle east, but can sure as hell spell correctly any country in ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Most obvious collusion I've seen in six years of poker Geez, are you really not aware that North America is not a continent. I hope this is not groundbreaking news for you but....USA belongs to the continent of America!!, as well as Colombia (Its also a display of ignorance when people use the word "american" to refer to a Northamerican, but thats just more of a bad habit). When I put the word northamericans in parenthesis, I was reffering to the fact that most people that misspell Colombia for Columbia, are people from USA, which is in the same continent as Colombia. Re:Most obvious collusion I've seen in six years of poker Lmao, you clearly just validated my point about North Americans being self-centered. It's as if I was Mexican and frequently saw the word chilli: chilli town university, chilli restaurant, chilli-ville, chilli river; and hence "obviously" (as you put it) would always misspell that Latin country along the pacific called CHILE (hope you have heard of it), e.g. "yes, I've heard Chilli has really nice beaches!". English is my second language, although I think Im fortunate enough to have a good english level, and I didn't make those grammar mistakes because of lack of grammar knowledge, but because its an internet forum and I wrote the post in a hurry. However, making any common grammar mistake is standard, but not knowing how to spell a country, specially when it is from your own continent, just shows a laughable level of ignorance and is flat out pathetic. Re:Most obvious collusion I've seen in six years of poker First: I am from COLOMBIA and it tilts the hell out of me when someone cant spell a countries name, specially since most of the people that misspell it belong to the same continent (northamericans) but are so self centered and dumb that they most probably associate a name like COLOMBIA to the name of one of the capitals of their states (COLUMBIA). I bet these same people wouldnt event recognize some of the nations in their continent, which is just lol, and a syndrome of many people in developed and leading countries...oh well, sigh. Re:HSMTT $300 UB 50k hand vs XXCELTICFCXX Raising it pre is definitely better than limping. Raising the min bet on turn is a lot better than just calling. As played, calling the river is at least marginally better than folding given the action and that you are so underepped. Unless Im missing something, I really dont like the way you played this hand. Re:ban poker tracker Im not gonna argue more on the subject, you really just dont seem to get it. HUDS and pokertracker are not the same as training sites and books period. Training sites and books instruct your brain on how to become a better player by explaining different concepts of the game. HUDs and pokertracker do not instruct your poker knowledge to make you a better player, they simply gather info you wouldnt be able to gather on your own, and display it for you in real time to "help" you make better decissions. Re:ban poker tracker yes, plz ban all those programs. Seriously, anyone that supports these programs prolly thinks that he is benefiting from them and simply doesnt get that pokers essence is that its an individual game where you act in real time based on info gathered by your own brain. I mean really, figuring out that these programs are not good for the game and that they result in unfair competition is not really a hard concept to grasp. The only program I would find merely acceptable is one that ONLY gathers info about your own game, win/rate etc. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
