When you can't raise in the small blind in the sng because of your stack size but you have something like KTs and don't want to fold so you limp the small blind and the bb ALWAYS raises....even min raises. People who no matter what the flop or how many people are in the hand bet the pot if they're on the button after everyone checks. (I'm learning to exploit this..)

Non-turbo 6 max question
So I've been grinding the non-turbo 6.60 sngs as they are just incredibly soft. I had a sick sick heater (check out my SS if you want to see what I mean) but now I'm starting to get scared. I know I can beat these easily but what is a normal downswing at this level in the non-turbos...surely not as high as the turbos' I'm on a 20 game 10buyin downswing which I'm not at all scared about but is 20 unheard of' Or even 30' Thanks..just looking for what to expect. I know it will all even out.

I'm a SNG player and quite a profitable one at that, but I SUCK at cash and I don't know why. I can't grasp that you don't bet a pair of aces if you hold AK on every street. In sngs you just get a hand and go with it...but cash is all about pot control but I don't get it because I feel you lose so much value and let people draw out on you easier. To be honest, I need to become a winning cash player because when I start playing live, SNGs aren't really an option. I'm going to move up to 26s in SnGs, then subscribe to cardrunners and play 25nl till I get it lol.

Sngs are easy to build a roll because they're super soft at lower stakes. Once you get a br though, moving up stakes can prove tough as regs are more frequent.

You're gonna lose a shit ton before you get better. Look at everyone's Sharkscope graph...75 percent have a huge dip at the front. I lost about 800 but now I've gained it back plus a ton more. You're going to lose until you learn. That's how it goes.

Battle Of Planets Tourney
So I found $100 bucks in my account and had no clue where it came from and after some research apparently it's cause I placed in the top ten of the SNG leaderboard for my stakes and they said I'm also registered in a tournament with a 50k prize pool. My question is, was this tournament last sunday as this reward was for last week or is it in a month' I'm concerned I missed it. Thanks

I'm the opposite...played MTTs for 3 years to discover SNGs. So nice to have mostly winning sessions. And cash rapes me for some reason even though I'm profitable in both MTTs and Sngs...bah.

Don't run Parallels. I did it for a while...slowed down my computer soooo much it was ridiculous so I uninstalled it and it's fine now. Two programs: PT3 for mac and Pokercopilot....I use the latter because PT3 wasn't out when I was buying and it's decent if all you need is a HUD. Gl.

Oh and if there's tons of dead money in the pot...shove if you have an awkward stack....4 limpers at 50/100 and you have up to 1400...I just shove. Sucks to raise and not hit.

You saying you're at a table where everyone is limping' You gotta change your strat. I'm assuming the problem is like there are 6 limpers, u raise AK to like 6x the bb and tons of people call...which can be a nightmare. IMO, limp hands that can flop huge like 78s and stuff like that. Raise your hands like AK a lot....try to get it heads up vs someone. It'll be higher variance but will work.
