Re:MY busto hand from FTOPS 2500
I fold utg+1 KJo with about 10BB! Rather push A2 than KJ...K high no good to push with imo, especially in that position.

It peeks at the 60$ turbos, where you have at least 6 pokerwizzkids per 9-player table. You can count yourself out aswell if you're not too shy about it...

Re:Warning, I found a scammer online. Not your typical thread please read.
Just read the whole thread on 2+2, and from what I'm reading, this guy is pretty messed up. Never read a story so incoherent. If he actually thinks someone is buying this, lol²! I'd say: don't listen to the guy. I know he explains well, but just try to avoid him and don't give him any attention! 20-years old my ass, I'm from Europa, but tell me how can he make 175k in live games between he was 16 and 19 years old looool...

Re:Sunday Warmup - BTN vs BB
The fact he's 3-betting you once again in the blinds must make his hand much stronger. He has in the back of his mind the 77 call of you and must know you're willing to put your entire stack on a non premium hand in that position facing a 3bet from the blind. So his 3betting range is pretty tight imo. If you do consider a 4bet, you must know that you're chips are getting all in the pot if he decides to call/overshove. Maybe a flatcall would've been best option considering you're in position. A flop could've been helpfull. Considering you're pretty deep, justifies ...

Re:Shortie pushes and holding down AJ in midpos.
OK, we totally agree about the shove. It was either fold/push. What I am really wondering about is the call with AQo. What range should he put me on' + Why is this call profitable, he doenst get any pot odds, because he had nothing invested'

Re:1st hand of stars 320, fold KK ?
Why don't you 4bet preflop. If you're willing to get it allin, better do it preflop with KK...Always more safe then be scared of AA. Actually, I'm quite happy to take it down preflop after the raise of him. I defenitely 4bet here. because you're hoping to get a call, if he doens't call, you have some chips in your first hand--> + If he calls 4bet, he wants to get it allin aswell, so flop allin would be most likely and with TT on flop it is quite a good flop for you, only AA has you beat after a 4bet, but hey, that would be sick in the first hand :p. Going to the flop ...

Re:would like some opinions
Fold obv! KQo is really not that good. Read: Gap-concept: you don't call a raise with a hand you would initially raise with. Raising KQo in midpos is already pretty boarder if you're tag player. Even so, I never call raises in midpos with K high. Remember the GAP-CONCEPT at micro-stakes and you save a lot of money!

Re:Shortie pushes and holding down AJ in midpos.
This was in fact a SNG. If i flatcall, the only one who has FE on me is in fact BADBEAT. If one of the other 4 players repop, I have to good odds to fold. + I didn't think BADBEAT would risk his entire 2nd stack on calling himself allin with less than JJ+.. For me it's a pretty standard play I guess, but still hesistating how others would play this actually.

Re:I hear this is standard
I totally agree with you threeven considering the blinds are still small. In that case a call and see flop is obv the best option. Too bad this flop sucks. I do think with larger blinds that squeezing is a good play. Let's say stacksize and blinds increase simultaneously as in OP. You've got 2 options i guess if there is a chance you face a 4bet: 1. Or you squeeze yourself committed--> giant overbet so less of an option. 2. Or you squeeze like 3x the initial miniraise and fold to a 4bet, considering utg+1 miniraist, and at a 4bet you should put him very strong.

Re:do i have to call here ?
I call here! You're in pretty late position, BB has about 14 BB at beginning of the hand. I think his pushing range is quite wide here. + you're getting 2-1 --> you have to call 8k for a total pot of 17k. I think his range at this point considering late 2.5x BB raise and his 12 BB left after the BB, is about Ax+, 55+. Also, when he pushes, he still has some FE.. If he standard raises you, he's planning on getting it all in, even if you repop, even if there is a flop. Therefore I put his range a bit wider. I think this is a +EV call! Now, folding is never bad, but NO BALLS, NO ...

Re:I hear this is standard
I would squeeze here. oop against 2 opponents with AQo, what you gonna do with A9T flop and you bet, then you get raised... So to protect your hand + to get some extra credit if you DO get a call + take it down preflop--> squeeze about 4-5 times the raise

Re:I need help with this hand, please
I wouldn't have played it any other way. With your hands the result was gonna be the same afterall. It was going to be an allin, even if you check/raised. I think it was very bad play by the UTGlimp with KT :s I don't see any good player making such a play. Even so, I'm not quite sure why you think you were beat. Set would've flatcalled. Only Flushdraw/toppair/overpair would've pushed. So in that case you aren't beat at all. I don't think you shoud feel beat at a push right there. Just unlucky board, with no reads of any players. So I honestly don't think you ...

Re:While you were away - stars step 4
I play frequently steps. I start with step 2 and gather tickets for higher steps. I think the level in step 4 is a bit higher then step 3. Since you crushed step 3, I think it should be doable to win also in step 4. If you win 1 out of 3-4 you've got a good run. Big difference between step 3 and 4 is the length of the game. Step 4's are a lot more tighter, and there isn't any big action untill high blinds starting from 50-100. With these higher blinds, play is much more agressive, so don't hesitate in 3-betting..It pays off. Gl!

Next to the event, there will be a weekly update of the MTT’s I played that week. With comments and hand analysis. Occasionally you’ll also find a video of an online table. At the site you'll find the story how I got into San Remo. ...

Tempted on folding. Limper who reshoves...That's gotta be strong. Limping with QQ is btw very bad play. Actually you are limping to get a raise, so now you've got 2 :p Think about what you are gonna do in that situations before limping I can only say. Would like to see the outcome though..GL!
