Thanks to all. Most of you probably play much better, more often, and at higher stakes than I play, so nice to get the encouragement. Making the ft was a boost to the confidence, but I know my game needs much improvement... particularly my short-handed and heads-up play. Hopefully I'll take it down next time.

I'm at the Final Table of the 1,200 Guaranteed Tourney on Cake. My first ever final table (Since I've usually donked away my chips long before this point) so I had to brag a little. Eight players left, I'm currently second in chips. Stay focused!

1 she watches "The Waltons" all the time, and usually ends up teary eyed by the time the show's over, even if she's seen it 50 times. She's got all the seasons on dvd. 2 she's a dead aim with a rifle, could probably shoot a fly off of a pile of crap from 50 yards 3 she hangs out with me

Thomas Jefferson was a brilliant man, but he was still a man of his times. the fact that he abhorred slavery is evident in many of his writings, but he also believed in the sovereignty of the State, in his case Virginia. Since Virginia, and in fact every State at that time, permitted slavery Jefferson would function and prosper within that system. I don't think Jefferson's greatness is in any way diminished by his sometimes failing to live up to his own ideals. I've done that before... who hasn't. It just makes him human.

I went in this morning long enough to tell my boss what was going on. I was there about 20 minutes and got sick twice, including once in the trashcan right by the boss's desk Embarrasing, but also kinda funny. Wish I could've seen his face, but of course I was busy.

sick again
sick as hell again today. Nausea and vomiting and a few other symptoms I won't go into. This is 2 days in a row, and like the 4th or 5th time in the last few weeks. I went to the doctor yesterday, or rather my g/f dragged me there. She's pretty concerned. I guess I'm worried too. No one should be getting sick this much. It's not normal. So the doc examined me and did an x-ray on my stomach. They also want to refer me to a gastro-enterologist, probably for upper and lower g.i. and some other fun stuff. They seem to think I have a blockage, somewhere in one of my "passages", that is causing ...

Theres an area of beach near me that is nudist.... or at least it was that day. I'm riding my bike along the beachone day, probably about a year ago, and I rode for a while, way past where most people are usually hanging out. And I'm just riding along... Suddenly I look around and there's naked people... they were everywhere. And not the good kinda naked either. I quickly turned around and peddled on out of there.
