spot i find myself in often, and not sure what i should be doing. Seems like a pretty juicy spot for this player to shove so we are well ahead of his range I would guess. Unless UTG is a total nit, his range can include all pairs most of which will fold to our action but he's also opening KJs+ and A10+ type of hands. Flatter can be dismissed imo and its just unlucky if we are coolered. My question to you would be, without the shove in front, what do you do. Just flat and try and hit a pair or 3bet get it in' If the answer is the latter then I really can't see how this is any different. Posted in: Poker Community |

Player Notes Disappearing on Stars Wondering if anyone else has had this issue. Every time I take a note on a player on pokerstars, the next time I log in on the same computer the notes are gone. First happened a couple of months ago and emailed support. They tried to send a new notes.xml folder to me and also got me to change the location of the notes folder but to no avail. Been struggling through for a while but started to get a little annoying. Anyone have any suggestions' I use Holdem Manager and when I looked for the folder for support it was found in a HM folder but don't know if that has any affect. Posted in: Poker Sites |

Backing and Staking Discussion Hey guys just wanted to gather opinions on a situation iv had. I recently decided to back a friend for a 2 week period, starting Sunday and lasting throughout the MicroMillions. In the first couple of days of the stake he hit a score for 1k which increased his account to 600 above the original stake. He then asks wonders how the 600 is gona be split. It was my expectation that standard would be to wait til the end of the agreed upon stake to split any profits accumulated.
