I came in 2nd in this. The guy who had AK was a loose passive, very weak player. If you 3-bet him smaller I think he's calling almost his entire range, and shoving a range you're in terrible shape against, so why not 3-bet fold against this specific player' It sounds like you play by a fixed set of rules like "don't 3-bet fold AJ" which is a mistake when you get shorthanded because by then you should have lots of reads.
