Re:This is an easy fold right?
...i should learn to take my own advice.... literally less than two mins. after posting i was in the same situation: i raised with pocket Q's; got reraised with two callers.... and instead of making a 'good disciplined fold', I called his pocket AA... ballz....

Re:This is an easy fold right?
...good fold imo. you were beat pre and you knew it. the fact that you would've flopped quads is a piss off, but so unlikely to happen in that spot... good disciplined fold

Re:The hardest thing in poker....
...in my limited experience, the one steadfast thing that has remained an absolute truth, and has always proven factual is: PLAYING ABOVE YOUR BR = GOING BROKE..... everytime, no exceptions, you will eventually go broke..... so in poker, where there are so many variables, having this one trueism, for me anyways, has allowed me to take comfort in the fact that playing with in my BR will allow me to be profitable.

Aggression on the bubble in 9 man SnG
...just listened to a podcast where Howard Lederer claims that in 9 man sng's you should play the bubble really tight.... I've always thought that the opposite was the superior strategy, play aggressive and build your stack while everyone trys to make the money..... thoughts''

Grinding Heads Up
For those of you who are able to grind heads up tables as your primary source of poker income, my question is: How do you deal with the variance in order to be successful' Is it simply a matter of having a large enough roll to support the swings' Applying different strategy' Both, something else' And on a related topic, is there anyone who makes a living off playing exclusively double or nothing sng's' thx.......
