Re:Tough Post Flop Spot Late in Midnight Madness Although, I agree with most of what was said here I am not so happy getting my chips in the middle. TBH I lean toward folding just because if you are the table captain you likely have an edge. You don't really need to get it in here IMO. I can see the villan doing this with a semi or possibly a lower pair like 77-99, but I think there are way to many times when you are crushed. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:11 30K Spot with 35 left I just looked up villan on OPR and he has a negative ROI with little prizes so I don't think he is as good as I thought. With that being said he is a gold star. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

11 30K Spot with 35 left Original raiser is pretty tight, but I am fairly confident I am ahead of his range. Button is running at about 28/22 and very willing to get his chips in. Re:It's never easy, is it? What to do here? WOW...I think that fold is -EV and you have to be playing these tournies to win not get 82nd. I strongly feel you missed a chance to significantly add to your stack. Just my opinion. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:What to do in $8 + .80 180 man It's going in here...You are very very rarely a 4 to 1 dog here! It is too good of a spot to fold here and calling is awful IMO. If your against AA or KK FYL...(If it is KK bink an Ace) Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:It's never easy, is it? What to do here? This Cbet is not going to be respected much by solid players...Although you could be up against AQ or KQ I don't think I am folding here unless I have a real solid read. On a side note, I think you should have made it a little bigger PF becasue you are playing it OOP and there is a possibility you could be up against 2 players. This is a disaster if you get 2 callers and play it OOP. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:SB Pocket Fives Again. What stakes' So you getting a little more than 3 to 1 on your money calling, but you only have 23 BB. I probably fold rather than shove. I think you can find a bettter spot, but I would like to know a little more of the situation. Near the bubble' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Shove and a flat call...Am i ahead of the callers range??? AK and AQ combo's might try to iso, but again they are worried about the other big stack in the hand. I would rather see a flop here before over committing to the hand. Hero...It is a tough spot. Don't beat yourself up about it. Some people may be willing to race than me and would have in fact shoved this in as well. I just think I have an edge on most opponents when I have a stack and I am not willing to gamble with another big stack. GL at the tables. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:How can this be called? I know I should be bluffing stations, but I just felt the urge in this spot. I obviously regret it now, but I didn't fully realize he was that big of a station until this. Sorry this wasn't clear.... you do know he is willing to to call light if he "showed bottom pair". Did he win that one with bottom pair' He was the won called and showed BP and the loosing hand. I prefer to pick on shorter stacks that may be trying to move up a couple of places, the pickings just seem to be better most of the time. Re:How can this be called? A 9, 6, 33 or A-rag all have him beat. I find it hard to believe this bet was for value considering myself and 1 other guy punished him for his weak steal attempt on the river. Only one of these bets were called and the villan here showed bottom pair. The rest of the hands were raised after the small donk lead bets. You are probably right when you say I should've switched gears, but I felt like this was a great spot to pick up chips. Nobody at the table was sticking up for themselves either. Looking at his VPIP and OPR stats I think I just hand an encounter with a donkey calling station. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:NL50: 2nd pair TK against 3 barrells. I am not eager to play this OOP so I think 3 betting pre would have been better. I def dont think AQ is good he considering you are playing it very passively and I assume he realizes that. I would like he has KQ, AK, 77 (and a very very small chance J10 and KJ). Re:NL50: How's my turn bet? Just under a pot size bet...seems good enough to force a draw to fold. I am not a great cash game player by any means, but I think you are only getting called here by a hand that beats you. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:How can this be called? Should have set the stage a bit better. It was the FT bubble and I am 1 of 11. I am a LAG and had been raising alot of pots without much contension. I certainly think Q10 is a good enough hand to button steal with considering the situation. At showdown I hadn't really shown garbage, but only hands of solid value. The villan is passive, and I didn't think he was capable of calling a RR on the river because I was sure the small bet was a steal attempt (based on previous situations). I realize that he was getting a fairly good price there, but K10'!'!' WTF''' Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Shove and a flat call...Am i ahead of the callers range??? My thought is he will only call a reraise here with a hand that we are dominated. With the exception of maybe AKs. He will fold TT-88 and AQ when his entire stack is at risk. IMO Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re:Shove and a flat call...Am i ahead of the callers range??? Your pretty deep and there is little need to race...I agree what he said that on a random opponent at this level he could possibly holding 88-TT and AQ and AK plus the obvious trapping hands. Having played with the villan here I know that he is pretty solid and very capable of calling behind with AA KK and AK. You already have a stack and I think your a 4 to 1 underdog way too often. TBH I am never shoving here against Lucky. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
