One thing I haven't heard mentioned were how belittling the commentator's remarks were about him, about how he gets to go home to his Friday night poker buddies and brag about how he got to play with Howard and all. And they did this more than once. Ok, so it was his first time there. I personally have no problem with checking it down, especially near the money. I know it's an "unwritten" rule and will do it myself if the other person is playing ball. What I have a problem with is, yesterday in the Bodog 100K we're getting near the bubble with 63 getting paid and 71 left. I'm very short and end up all in with 2 others. Fine so far. Flop comes, one of the other 2 says to the other, "Check it down all the way." Some of the railbirds go off at that point and I see their point. Yes, it's an unwritten rule, if it's a "rule" at all. Thanks to P5's for the great tourney. It was fantastic. The league members made another strong showing last night with 4 making the cut and 3 of them making the final 35 when the tournament ended. I guess we could've went all in once 66 were left but I personally wanted to see if I could make the top 35 when they shut it down. When we neared the 35 bubble I was over 8K I think I was in pretty good shape barring any donk moves. Great tournament and hopefully we can roll this into something bigger Sunday. Not quite all 60/40's. The hand where you tore me up you were a 67/31 dog and the one where you took QJoff up against KK and AA had you limited to 13% chance of winning. You played the "bully" part well for the most part. If your intent was to get people to not play against you, it succeeded. You can certainly rack up a ton of blinds and limpers along the way.
