UNIQUE REALLY WEIRD situation. What do you do here? Literal bubble question.
OMG obv its never a fold! +1 million here too. I think rivverkiller is the only one who sees what I mean, by playing with the idea possibly pure math be closer than snap calling. Its not a question of correct play, bankroll management, tourney strategy, or scared money cuz everyone should know that. Folding is wrong, play with good bankroll, always go for top spots since its weighted and win not min cash, no scared money if good bankroll. Just wondering equity and what does software do there for pure curiosity, because its really never application. Rereading my original post it sounds ...

True that. I just like ridic bolding obv. My answer is never, but maybe if your around the bubble and really need to cash in the tournament to buy food or something. But in all seriousness how does the software work and can this be translated by ICM, its just interesting to me (like folding AA pre in certain Sattys) since I'm fairly new to MTT.

UNIQUE REALLY WEIRD situation. What do you do here? Literal bubble question.
Haven't been on here forever. This is one of the most unique MTT spots I just got in, so weird wanna know the math and what you think. I know in STT there are correct spots to fold AA, but is this another spot where you fold a monster. $5/2R1A Top 135 money. Bubble play hand-for-hand. When hand started literally one more elimination till the money. I was like bottom 3 in chips before hand started. Midway in my hand someone bust at another table. Still reads 136 in lobby with smallest stack being 0. So if I fold I cash for sure. My immediate right opens 2.5x vs my less than 5x so obv I'm all ...

Re:RE: Boku's 100-10,000....
Don't forget that taxation on professional "gamblers" is really heavy too. So you really need to make like twice what you would otherwise when you account for everything. Self-employment tax takes something 15% on top of whatever bracket you fall in I believe.

Re:durrrr Ivey battle on ftp...
I don't rail him so I don't know of his play of late, but it is probably a downswing or a recent leak. I'm still sticking by he's a longrun winner. Mess around with the DB results. Jan08-Dec08 he was a top winner over a big sample. Then run starting in 2009 till now or past 4 months. That's where he swings down. That number of hands is much smaller. There are crazy swings in nosebleed stakes. Been through multiple million dollar downswings. Think about also the dynamic of the PLO game recently: more 500/1000 activity, he's had more HU action which adds more potential ...

Re:micro sngs still profitable?
I'm conservatively rebuilding my roll. I 12-16 table them. Yes profitable, but more people do understand the concept more. You won't return 20%+ multitabling. So go ahead if you don't mind part of you're soul being ripped to shreds.

Re:Doyle or DURRRRRRRRRRRR
Tom Dwan and Phil Galfond are currently Gods of NLHE and PLO poker. With that said longevity counts in poker so to Doyle. None of the 3 will ever be busto. Heard Doyle doesn't play PLO much.

Scotty Nguyen "wins" the 10k LAPC H.O.R.S.E. Runner up Chino Rheem.
Info: 1st place $340,993 2nd place $182,477 "The final two players in the $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. event have come to a gentleman's agreement to chop up the prize money. As part of that agreement, Scotty Nguyen is the champion of the tournament and Chino Rheem is runner-up." First off I like both players and I'm not trying to take away anything from either, but seriously a chop for the title when stacks were dead even'!'! Anyone know anything about this, because I read this and it really is bugging me. I can only speculate Scotty made a cash offer Chino can't refuse during ...

I'm not necessarily for Obama politically. Here's the business though. I am laying anyone up to 6:1 on their money that Obama beats out McCain. So if you feel strongly McCain is gonna win, post below and send me a PM. Cheers! Get out and vote then drink after polls close =P Edit: This is just an offer, I will consider reasonable counteroffers if you're serious. The offers are now starting at 8.5:1

Just wonderin, maybe I'm just blind, but where is the structure sheet' I expect it to be lil deeper but I can't find it on the site or anywhere. Is it the same as the summer's WSOP' Prob not gonna make it unless I end up as a horse for my friend, going through a $college life$ downswing I was looking at one of the 5s or 1Ks. Good luck to everyone.

40+ Red Pros in Fairfood Charity Poker Tourney on FTP
I came across this tourney that is on Saturday. Its $5+5 buy in and for charity theres a bunch of pros (Get that KO shirt! lol). I have nothing to do with this charity, but it looks cool. I know I have plans so I can't play in it. It'd be cool to see some online tourney pros in here too, I don't think I've seen any big names registered yet. Full Tilt info: ID#60422899 PASSWORD=charity GL, tell me if anyone ends up with some fun stories about this tourney.
