2 seperate points. let me walk you through it. 1. Lebron gets kiddie gloves from the refs. If Pierce got the same treatment, the refs mighta found a way to keep him in the game. 2. The noncall on Rondo just happened to be the most critical mistake of the game by the refs, and essentially led to a 4 point swing in MIA's favor. bonus round: MIA 49. BOS 29. Yawn

The comment wasn't even about the calls on Pierce, it was more a reference to a long history of refs going out of their way to avoid calling a foul on Lebron. The noncall on Rondo was definately a gamechanger. he was 10-12 at the line and instead of getting 2 free throws in a tied game its a fast break 2 points the other way. 6th man award ldo

I didnt see it that way. I got the impression that McCoy had a lot of resentment for Hatfield b/c hatfield left the war early (deserted, in the words of McCoy), and while hatfield was home scooping up land, building his fortune, and running the town, McCoy was rotting as a POW. Then when he finally gets home he finds that the hayfields killed his brother and have been stealing his pigs. The McCoys may be perpetuating the feud, but only b/c the hatfields have been doing and taking whatever they want, sometimes at the McCoy's expense. I thought this was what happened too but wasn't 100% sure because it happened right as the 3rd army stormed in and unlike dixi the book reader I can't tell every single character apart by their armor. I don't think Joffrey has the balls yet to put a hit out on Tyrion, and I don't think he's smart enough to do it on the DL like that either. When I was growing up the local ski area had a truck that sold fried dough with either powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar topping, and it was usually the best part of the day when we'd get one before leaving. The only place that I know of where you can get it now is at those sketchy traveling carnivals, so I haven't had any in like 15 years. Probably a good thing. sfgood. (1).jpg

Favorite Ben and Jerry's ice cream flavor
Yeah ever since they sold the company prices have gone from high to outrageous. I think its like $4.79 a pint now, and thats at a grocery store not a convenience store. Its funny that I'll waste 2 dollars on just about anything, but yet I refuse to pay $4.79 for a pint of ice cream and I only buy it when it goes on sale for $3.00. I almost tried Americone Dream when it first came out but went with something else because it sounded pretty uninteresting. Fudge covered waffle pieces and caramel swirls in vanilla ice cream. Gonna have to try it now that the first 2 responses both brought it up.

Favorite Ben and Jerry's ice cream flavor
Ten years ago I could damn near finish off an entire pint of Phish Food without even putting down the spoon for a breather. That stuff was so good. I've scaled it back to half a pint in one sitting, but I can't get through more than a few spoonfuls of Phish Food or some of the other flavors I used to enjoy like Everything But The Kitchen Sink or Mint Chocolate Cookie.
