Poker $20 Challange
I just posted something similar in a another thread but I'll repeat. it. Beginning of this month I deposited $10 on stars, I then played a ton of $1.10 DoNs SnGs (Usually 18 tables at once) My main goal was to be slightly better then break even (which is all you can ask for in DoNs) and to clear the VIP bonus that stars has. Once I had $50 I moved over to $2 tables of NL and PLO, where 25 buyins is more then enough to play anyway you want. Just play ABC and you will win. I haven't played a MTT this month and wouldn't suggest it on a $18 bankroll.

10 Man SNG Double or Nothing vs 3 Places Paid
I played probably 800+ 1.10 Dons this month, my guess is that they are beatable for around 5-8% ROI. I would use them to learn to multi table and to clear VIP bonuses. Once you're ready to deal with a little more variance move to the regular SnGs, they're still very beatable despite the rake (I would play 18mans if i was playing SnGs) PS: Always steal rs03rs03's blinds, if u played a 1.10 Don you played against him.

What to do with FTP's on Full Tilt
Get a ton of step 1 tickets and grind the hyper turbos, they are mindlessly easy and you'll end up with a few $25 tokens (step 3)

ultimate micro/low mtt sng strategy
Use ftp points to grind the hyper step SNGs, or use a little bit of money once and a while to play them. You can redeem step 3 tickets for $25 tokens and despite my lack of success at em the $25 MTTs on FTP seem soft as hell.

Largest ROI differences between FT & PS
Been so much easier to make money on tilt recently but I guess stars is my better site overall. Tilt: 27% (85%mtt only) over 2500+ games Stars: 32% (actually higher, missing chops) over 3450+ games

New tournament Ideas.
I came up with an idea after a usual day of getting rivered. How about splitting the pot in to three, a flop pot, turn pot and a river pot. You win the money put into each pot that you were ahead of at that time. If your all in on one of the streets besides the river, the money gets split between the next pots. Would reduce getting 'bad beat' but would also make a tournament longer.

Most $3KO, and any $2 1R/1A and $1 rebuys are soft and deep stacked. I find any low limit MTT on FTP with a deepstack extrememly soft, so just pick ones that fits your schedule.

To me they are not the best as far as being +ev. If you average 1 KO a tournament you ROI is 0% on that $1, if you are overall +ROI in the tournaments you are missing out on the extra money in the end. Thats they way I always viewed it.

I can't stand tournaments where at least half the people are not there. That said if you don't mind playing 3 or 4 handed for most of the start I'm sure it has a lot of value. I opt for medals though, some good things in the store and I just can't 100% commit to be there for a freeroll in the middle of the day on a saturday.
