I think you played the hand perfectly. Love the flop raise. Bet turn is better than checking back imo. I'm surprised you had a 4 there and checked back river with the line taken. I don't think you could have played the hand any better than you did. GL if you're still in.

mtt players check raising rivers
I think you played it fine vs most players, but vs him, I would check either turn or river. Hes a good thinking tricky player that likes to trap from my experience and does C/R rivers often. I know a very good player that has bluffed in a spot like this with these stacks in a 1k before, so its not completely out of the question but obv the % is discountable. Has anyone seen an increase of river C/Rs lately with deeper stacks'

Always thought you were one of the classiest guys around. I'm glad you're back at top especially after the negativity that was thrown your way. I appreciate the seriousness and maturity of this thread which most wells recently have lacked - not so much for myself but the game and community overall. I read most of this really late Saturday night while on one of my worst downswings ever (2/3 of while was due to lack of interest/bad play on my part and playing too many high variance games). I don't think its a coincidence that the day after I finally had a profitably Sunday in over a month and ...

FTP Please the fix the bleeping $163 strucutres
The structures on all FTP tourneys definitely need to be reworked. The FTOPS ME, with over a million for first had avg stack at 25-30bb with just a couple tables left iirc. Thats just ridiculous. Consult AP on structures and trade them scheduling advice imo.

Here is the email I received. Seems really absurd to be doing this... *** IF YOU SPEND YOUR POINTS AFTER THE 28TH FEBRUARY THEY WILL BE CHARGED AGAINST YOUR RAKE AND THEREFORE AGAINST YOUR RAKEBACK *** From 1st March AP and B will start deducting the cost of all points you spend in the store and on cash bonuses from your rake – This will therefore affect your rakeback Example before 1st March Rake $500 Spend $200 in points – No deduction Rakeback = 30% of $500 or $150 --------------------------------------------------------- Example From 1st March Onwards Rake $500 Spend ...

While I agree with disagreeing with siola, your analogy makes no sense. HUDs don't kill people, they offer an edge by intimidation, they don't aid you in the game of poker, etc etc.

How many of you absolutely believe positive thinking is directly related to results?
This. Positive thinking/mindset is very important to success in poker. Obv it won't change results or mathematically increase your odds. It will however, allow you to deal with the beats and move on in your session while maintaining a clear mind to make the best decisions.

Sorry, I guess I didn't give out enough detail in the OP. We didn't sign any advertising deal with them, it was just a basic information listing. Also the error I found was online, I'm not sure if the actual book listing is correct or not.
