BAD FOLD? range seems to be A6-AT, 66, maybe TT, or some type of combo draw. it's hard to say with no info on the player, as some guys get carried away with a hand like AJ-AQ here. I fold though against a decent player. you're dead to 66 and drawing thin against 2 pair and roughly a coin toss against a combo draw. -ear biter- Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Late In Tournaments Deep Stacks w/ AK how late in the tournament is it' are you playing to win' if so, this is an instacall. put him on a range and go from there. if villian covers then maybe you can fold...if you don't want to race at this point in the tournament. i would call in this spot 100% fwiw. -ear biter- Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Hand from 2004 WSOP I guess it all depends on whether or not you'd like to be 50/50 with all your money in going to the turn and river. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

How would u play it? Toss it. Seems like you played it scared however. I put it all in facing the original raise. If my QQ is beat, gg me. All that being said, looks like just calling in this spot saved you your tournament life. Certainly lay down the queens after raise, reraise and push. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Hand from 2004 WSOP I'm not 100% sure on the numbers either Kenny, but it was nowhere near 4 million. I think Gus bet around 12-16k...' Anderson ended up having to call about 90k more i think. So it's not like a push from Anderson would have been a big overbet. If he was going to play a big pot with this hand no matter what, why not raise and try to push the 3rd player off of a hand such as KJ or KQ, instead of having to call an all in with just a draw. By just calling, he gets no fold equity out of the 3rd player and the 3rd player is liable to continue with just a king or even make a play at the pot. I would ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Hand from 2004 WSOP ^^ what he said. I don't like Anderson anyways...this was a Royal draw played very weak. His play was a play that a bad calling station would make. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Hand from Stars $162.. Guess our hands? Don't know about your read on Florita...so I'll assume he's neither a fish nor a ringer. Anyways, I don't think you are hardly ever bluffing here on the river. You: set 50%, flush 20%, aces up 20%, bluff 10% Him: AT-AK almost every time, Kh-X the rest of the time I would expect to see AK from him about half the time here. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
