Accounts Hacked, Lessons Learned I get so sick to my stomach every time I read these posts. Definitely feel for you man. Got both my PS and FT accounts jacked in Sept 08 to the tune of 22K. This was before sites offered RSA tokens and PINs, so once the hacker got my Gmail, I was done for (it really pissed me off when they introduced "extra security features" a year after I was hacked. "RSA Security Token' Gee thanks poker sites! I could've used that A YEAR AGO!!!") Jay Leno is back to 11:30 pm I don't think that Conan is as bad on the Tonight Show as people are making him out to be. It's not as good as when he was on Late Night, but is still way funnier than when Leno was doing the Tonight Show. Fallon gets the mega-shaft here, but not like I care. Still, if Conan gets pushed back to midnight I hope it will be for the better. Posted in: Off Topic |

A movie review: Avatar (2009) in 3-D What's weird is that since seeing Avatar, I have watched both Aliens and Terminator 2 (in addition to The Hurt Locker as an aside - great film btw), and it occurred to me that my biggest disappointment with Avatar is that James Cameron could have done much more with the concept. While I wasn't old enough to experience these films in theater, I'm hearing similarities between peoples reactions to those films like I am now with Avatar in relation to the SFX "blowing their mind" (for exp: in T2 with the liquid metal effects). A movie review: Avatar (2009) in 3-D Saw it in IMAX 3D today and I pretty much agree with this review. Avatar left me with a strange, empty feeling after walking out of the theatre. While I was in complete awe of the visual scope of this film, and I knew I had just experienced an amazing visual thrill ride, I couldn’t help but wonder why I didn’t feel “blown away” as most people had described. The answer was simply that I found the plot/characters/storyline very underwhelming, and it hindered my overall experience of the movie. Who is your favorite stand-up comedian? Carlin is my favorite comedian hands down. The way he analyzes language, politics, religion and culture is on a completely different level than most comedians past or present. Bill Hicks is up there too btw... Demetri Martin is my favorite contemporary comedian. He has a show on the Comedy Network now, every Wednesday at 10:30 called "Important Things with Demetri Martin". It's pretty good so check it out. ********Hacked please read********* I totally feel for you man. The same thing happened to me in September when both my FTP and PS accounts were hacked and I lost 22.5K. There was no logic behind the hacker...he/she did the same thing in my scenario as in yours: he/she played high stakes for shits and giggles, and eventually it was all gone in the span of 12 hours. I believe that my email account was compromised and that is how the hacker obtained my passwords, though I am not completely sure. All I know, is that my email, PokerXFactor, and poker accounts were all hacked. Hope this gets resolved.... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
