Possible relocation to Madison, WI I think alot of it is based on your age and if ur married/have kids... I lived in Madison my whole life and love it.. The party atmosphere is obv much more fun if your in your 20s or early 30s. The campus area has all sorts of ridiculous bar specials, as soon as you figure out where to go which nites you can drink ridiculously cheap. If your looking for something a step up from the college scene, there are a few decent bars around the capitol. College football is nuts in this town. The stadium is always packed, along with tailgating everywhere downtown and around campus... Football saturdays ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Am I ever ahead here? Flat and re evaluate for sure.. His range is definetly wider than you are giving him credit for... and you are ahead of most of his range... I dont really like 4 betting here because you are going to fold out most hands that you are ahead of, and a good majority of hands he calls with will be beating you. Id rather re evaluate, and have him put more $$ in the pot on the turn with hands that we are ahead of... Posted in: Live Poker |

UTG opening range? Like others have said stack sizes are important, because if you got a bunch of 10-15bb stacks they are looking for a chance to get reshove... Your almost 40bbs deep tho, a min raise fromearly position will clear most of the field, and most dry flops you will be able to take it down with a cbet... Live hand at the Aria in the nightly tourney OP- like everyone said already, if you put him on that range 89ss is a snap fold... Your obv ahead of him on the flop so Im not sure what your minute or 2 of consideration is about.. As far as your shove, the hand plays itself hes getting over 2-1 to call he is snap calling all day unless he thinks you were set mining (which you didnt have the proper odds to do either)... Wisconsin sports shoutout Mostly because of all the hate/shit packer fans give me for liing the lions... And cause they are in the NFC north... you almost gotta ahte on opponents in ur division... FTP/PS Moving to canada success stories.. Hey guys, I am just wondering about the guys that have made the move to canada. I saw in another thread that a player was succesful with the move with PS. I havent heard of any that are playing on FTP yet. Has any US resident moved to Canada, and successfully started playing games on FTP' What was involved in the process. I am planning on finding roomates and moving to Windsor Jul 1, and FTP is the main site I play on so I am more interested in success stories from there, as I want to play rush to get the crazy rakeback... Windsor Ontario? Thanks for the replies guys... Yes I am bringing a car... Im not overly worried about crime and stuff, just wanted to avoid setting up shop in the ghetto... Im 6'5 270lbs, and feel street smart enough to handle myself in most any situation, and have visited detroit a few times, and chicago countless times... For the guys saying outside of windsor, the google maps dont show much of anything until you get to chatham.. Is there something I missing between the 2 cities' In my searching I am looking for something right by the river or by the university. I figured those would likely be decent ... Windsor Ontario? I know this is OT, but this isnt so much about poker as much as its about people who know about the city... I am planning on moving July 1st to keep playing online, and right now Windsor appears to be the best option as its closest to family and friends, its just across the boarder, and there are casinos in detroit and windsor. Im a little nervous about it because its right across the Detroit river, and dont really wanna move to the ghetto... Even if it is a good city, most cities have the "bad neighborhood, or side of town". Has anyone in OT been to Windsor ontario, and what are your ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Las Vegas Hotel & Casino Directory I like MGM cuz they dont do any of the bs jackpot stuff, and the poker room is highly visible when entering which increases the fish traffic... Venetian and Aria are both great rooms as well. I liked the aria cuz it seemed to have alot of people there on busiess with money, and they would drop 500+ in couple hours in the 1/3 game, i can only imagina how juicy the bigger games are with these guys.... Both aria and venetian have great tourney structures also... If you head dtown the gold nugget and binions were full of old locals who are a bunch of rocks, so if you have a solid lag game, and ... Anyone Else in the US Thinking of Going Back to College Now? Well Im pretty sure there will be quite a few poker players to meet in canada... I agree it would take alot of work to find out about canadian school/grants/taxes etc, but may be worth the time.. I know with US grants it might not be worth going to school in canada because those grants can relly add up.. Playing live should still b an option... I know most of us it is not ideal for us to move away from family/friends but is a matter of how much we want to continue poker..
